This IS OBG we're talking about

Good morning Bobbi
I like most meats ... is fish meat? I don't like fish much, one of those things I'll eat but never really want :|
Good morning Dale:wub:
Fish is one of those forgettable meats to me... I don't go out of my way for it... :?: Not a fan.

I've never had lamb or veal so I don't know if I'd like those or not. There's something about eating Lamb Chop that prevents me from eating lamb. But..I love all fish, seafood, chicken, pork and beef. :)
Aw Lamb Chop! My son was devastated when that lady passed!

    Good morning lurkers:wub::wub::wub:

I love meat of all kinds! My favorite part of any smorgasbord is that I can get multiple meats of several varieties! :D As long as I have meat and milk, life is good!!!
    Good morning Bobbi.
    I agree! :D

Lori, my parents were the same way with well done steak. It was only after getting braces when I was around 18 years old that I discovered how good and how tender medium rare steak was.
Yep. Nothing like what we call "the tail" on a ribeye. That little piece at the narrow end that's ohhhhhhh so tender!!
I've graduated from well done, to >l< almost still mooing.

I like fish, but if given a choice, I choose steak...say if we're ordering from a menu.
I love, love, love tuna fish though! :)

    Hey I'm a :angel:you know that
    :lol::lol::lol:
Lori may have learned a lot from working with the fellas but she still misses some things
True, they pick on me all the time.
I just remind the who turns in their time cards. ;)
UkOh! Don't hit me Lori!!
    Never!!
Looks like everything is trying to melt outside except my poor pine trees :(
Pine trees don't fare well in ice storms. :(

I luv veal but the servings are never big enough for me when I order it, not big on lamb :)

Lori, I went with a couple of friends to a fancy steakhouse in Wilmington years ago. My friend's boyfriend ordered a ribeye and when the waiter asked how he wanted it cooked, he said to just let the cow out of the kitchen that he would just rip off a chunk as it went by.:lol::lol: I like mine cooked exactly 3 minutes on both sides. Perfect!!

I love lamb loin chops, if they're not gamey, usually they're not. I try not to think about what I'm eating. :)
I'm glad I didn't watch that show (with Lamb Chop), I'd prob not be able to eat it either.

I've only had veal once, I didn't think it had a lot of flavor...again, when I ate it, I tried not to not think about what it was.
I love all animals, so I try to remind myself that in the case of lamb, what we're eating were raised specifically for the purpose of food.
We're not eating something from a petting zoo, or something we've hand raised...I couldn't do that, no way, no how.
    Same with beef.
As for deer, or other wildlife, I don't have a problem with that because if hunters didn't take them, their populations would get out of control, and it does happen. Food sources can't handle the larger populations, and the herds will suffer.
This is just me though. Everyone has their own choices when it comes to food.
I do tend to side with OBG though...more for us.:lol::lol:

So, you like yours pretty rare too. :)
I definitely like pink/red in the center, I'd rather the blood be at least somewhat cooked, but I can handle it if it's a little bloody.

Lamb loin chops....that pic looks like how we do ours.
I like mine with mint apple jelly, DH doesn't.
When you can't use your knife and fork, you abandon them, and they become finger foods.
