The place takes up about 2 square blocks good place to shop I've been sending people there for over 30 years and they all love the place :)
This place I go to is big like that too.
The one I go to has been there a really long time too. The current owners are the second owners, I know they've been there for 15 years. They've got to be near/or past retirement age, so I'm hopeful that someone carries it forward when they retire. :)

I know :Dwhen my daughter told my EX I was taking her to Vandalia to shop, her and her BF,and all on their friends told her there is no such place so she took a pic of the sign in the town square for them on the first trip :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:
:lol::lol::lol:
We have a couple other cities in IL that you have in Mo.
Springfield, and Centralia are the other ones I know of.

In have a t bone thawed but the SIL treated me to Mexican on the way home so tomorrow I guess :)
It'll hold. ;)

And here I had a tuna sandwich
I like tuna. I've had it twice this week.

Yes it is ;)
I like Mexican but like you don't want it too often :)
Same here. :)

Welp, heading off to clean up the kitchen and get my bath.
I may just say goodnight now in case I don't make it back later.
Sweet dreams when you go.

Got busy and then had to head home...that was a tense trip because the winds were really strong and very gusty over the bridges, one of which is 5 miles long and I had to fight the car from being blown off the road the whole 5 miles of that bridge....Was very glad to get home.

I'm glad I didn't see that story earlier about the San Antonio shooting...my son was apparently there this weekend for a conference, but by the time I saw that story I had already heard from him that he was back home.

Well time to try and get some rest...morning is going to be here way too soon...good night and sweet dreams.

They showed the damage to both San Antonio and Houston on the news this morning. Sure, it could have been worse, thank goodness it was mainly just trees, a large parking awning, traffic lights coming down, but no one was injured in any of that.
