Decided on Five Guys Burgers for tonight...have also narrowed down the choices for lunch tomorrow to two of our best local restaurants, one Italian, and the other some of the best seafood around...the final deciding factor will be whichever one is easier to get into at the time!
My my my, you do eat well;)

Woooo! Brownies are in the oven for my favorite kiddo Valentine  He really wanted them for SBS. But since we had bday cake and cupcakes, I thought it would be too much dessert.

I'm pooped. How's everyone doing this evening? I see laundry was the chore of the day ;)

I had a decent day, Chels, how about yourself? Oh boy. We did cloth diapers in the beginning. Until he was six mos and started him on solids. Bye bye cloth, hello Luvs. How are you doing with the potty training?

I vote for Italian, Angel. But then I will always vote for Italian, because.... Pasta.

He keeps showing all the textbook signs that he's ready (telling us when his diaper is soiled, wanting to watch us go to the bathroom, wanting to flush the toilet, etc). But every time I ask if he wants to go in the toilet he says no. He's 3 1/2 and I know many kids his age are potty trained. I know I shouldn't compare but it's hard not to.

Aw, some are harder than others :(
Neither of ours would use a child potty but once I got them the clip on ring for the adult seat they did fine :)

Well the bf told me to pick whatever I want for lunch and not to worry about the money...now I was nice and decided to take the two most expensive restaurants off the list, but only because one is too far away and the other one I just really don't like their offerings...so I'm going for what tastes really good.;)

I hear ya Sara...I love Italian too, but I equally love seafood, so I'll be happy with either one!:D

Chels, don't feel bad about the potty training...two of my boys were trained by 3, but then there was my really smart one (you know, the only one who went to college and is very intellectual), who was 4 before he would finally go all in with it...and that ended up involving a bribe from his grandmother that finally got through to him...he knew how to go all along, just didn't want to until he got the proper motivation!

We took kiddo to the store to pick out a character seat that went over top of the adult seat. Also we used a sticker chart and lots of rewards. Night time training was the worst. He is such a deep sleeper, he wouldn't wake up in the middle of the night to go. I guess the signals in the brain that alert you to wake up and go sometimes haven't fully matured in kids who are daytime trained. Eventually it all works itself out and it has, thank goodness.

I'm feeling ok other than the sore throat. :(

Don't feel bad girls, because if the bf hadn't told me what his plans were for tomorrow, I would have totally forgotten myself...boy would I have felt awful if he had just come over to surprise me like he had originally planned...I wouldn't have had anything for him!:facepalm:

Dinner was good...I'm stuffed...now time to go catch up on a few shows....good night and sweet dreams all.
