What should have taken me about an hour and 20 minutes to get home last night ended up taking over 3 hours!
...there was a horrible accident on the interstate that spawned 2 more accidents, one of which I watched happen in my rear view mirror...we were stuck there not moving for an hour and a half, and there was no where for us to turn around...ended up turning our vehicles off and just sitting there...good thing I always have my Kindle with me on my phone so I could at least read.
It's supposed to be close to 80 here too...time to grab some more coffee and finish getting ready...hope everyone has a great day.

Yeah it may have been inconvenient, but I was kind of glad I left when I did, because if I had left when I originally planned, I might have gotten caught in the actual accident because it happened about 30 minutes before I got to that point...and I was just glad to make it through...apparently one of the people involved didn't make it.
