In your nightmares
Yeah I used to have tons of books clogging up every spare space in my bedroom...finally donated most of them to the library and now I just have thousands of books clogging up my Kindle...much easier to handle that way...nice to be able to carry all those books in the palm of your hand. ;)

I love to read and I can't wait for summer to get here and wear out my library card!
I just renewed mine, couldn't find my old one (it's here somewhere), so I have a BRAND SPANKING NEW ONE.
It's really cool, the new one has a picture of the library on it, it's a HUGE, historic building in town.
So, I was excited. Here's a postcard version of it I found on the web...

    Stay safe, you three!! :)
    Thanks Sara.

Being a collector like that she would have never run out of TP if things got BAD :DHint bike parts co's still send out giant catalogs like the old Sears ones

    Okay, cherry it is

Yeah well, I don't bake much anymore ;) Too easy to just pick something up at wally world on the discount rack :p

It's a pretty good book but you might hate it ;)

UkOh, hope it doesn't hit you guys too bad

I used to keep all mine but get rid of them now, no where to keep all those books!

Considering I spend .25 to $1 for mine I'd have to agree with you!

Our library has a book sale room, that way I don't have to worry about the return time :)
Ours has a sale area too. That's a good idea though, then you don't have to worry about the return date.

I have books on my Kindle app, but I'm old fashioned, I like *books*, I love the portability and space saving convenience of the books on the app, so...I do both.

Yeah, it's pretty big. Can't even imagine how grand it must have been when it was new.

This is the local newspaper building. It had some brick restoration since it was built, but they saved most of the historical attributes of the original work.

I think the inside is a bit of a wreck.
VERY old, and not much was ever updated.
...and it stinks inside. Years of ink and newspaper.
My hometown, in it's very early days, was a rich railroad town...now, it's just a pitiful shell of what it once was.
    Very sad.

    Yep, you better.
    Stay safe.

    ...I'm off too. ;)

Hiya Joey....Just a few more days till your permanent right?

I still have a lot of actual books here to read and I do love the feel of books, but I just find the Kindle so handy...it's always there no matter where I go, because I can just sign into the app on my phone and pick up where I left off on the actual Kindle...I love that...that way I'm never without a book no matter where I go...comes in handy, especially for those times when you're stuck somewhere with nothing to do, like being stuck in standstill traffic for 2 hours.
