It's all in piles and the neighbor said he would pick it up next week,when that's gone we can start on the trunk part it's 28" at the bottom

28 inches around? Seems rather small

I didn't feel bad when I pulled it out to defrost yesterday.
Oh well, not a thing I can do about it.
Could be much worse. I'm just glad it's not a stomach flu.

Almost 30 inches, just a little less than a yard...pretty big tree.

I didn't realize at first either, helps that I've worked at an equipment company awhile, so I overhear all that talk about tree cutting and such.

I don't know the standard sizes though, have never been *that* interested.

A bit wet in our neck of the woods today but the rain didn't amount to much.

The Irish are always the first ones to come to the aid of their fellow man...passengers, in this case!

Shortly after take-off on an outbound, evening Aer Lingus flight from Dublin to Boston, the lead flight attendant nervously made the following painful announcement in her lovely Irish brogue:

"Ladies and gentlemen, I'm so very sorry, but it appears that there has been a terrible mix-up by our catering service. I don't know how this has happened, but we have 103 passengers on board, and unfortunately, we received only 40 dinner meals. I truly apologize for this mistake and inconvenience."

When the muttering of the passengers had died down, she continued, "Anyone who is kind enough to give up their meal so that someone else can eat, will receive free and unlimited drinks for the duration of our 10 hour flight.

Her next announcement came about 2 hours later:

"If anyone is hungry, we still have 40 dinners available."

I measured it about 3 ft up the bottom is even bigger

What's left of our big oak out front is probably bigger than that ... but it's a lot shorter these days. Still need to get that down but I'd like someone besides DS to do the work
