I tease about that, it doesn't get quite that slow, at least not for us in accounting/business office/finance dept., not sure what we are called, we do all of the above.
I do payables, and the bills will definitely slow between now and the end of the year.
They try to hold off on ordering unnecessary parts until Jan. so they don't have to count them with the end of year inventory.
As it is, it takes about 6 or 7 people, about 5 days to count every last nut, bolt, washer, o-ring, etc., absolutely every item in the parts rooms.
Some of the really tiny parts get weighed, and estimated though.
