Have been texting with my friend who's in Whiteville.
They're getting wind and LOTS of rain.

Well, BBL I need to go get some things gathered up to take back up north. We are going to go grocery shopping later today and then meet the kids for supper to celebrate Bruce's bday, then bring the girls for an over night stay. I will drop them off at home on my way back up north tomorrow.

Well, BBL I need to go get some things gathered up to take back up north. We are going to go grocery shopping later today and then meet the kids for supper to celebrate Bruce's bday, then bring the girls for an over night stay. I will drop them off at home on my way back up north tomorrow.

I don't know why it works but for me it works better than putting it anywhere else. If I am stuffed up I still put it on the neck and chest but if it is coughing now it's always the bottom of the foot.

It's getting a little nasty here. I think we may be getting more than what they predicted for our area. Our course is in a low lying area and floods alot. Especially when the creek jumps the banks. It's getting close to that now. So It's going to be a boring day here. May just shut down and leave about 5 this afternoon [emoji6]

I forgot to show y'all the new family member we acquired yesterday. This is Oreo. My nephew found him in a trash bag at the landfill.

Well got real busy with the princess and then when she finally went to bed (9:00) I had to finally start on getting all my stuff ready for us to leave tomorrow...2 loads of laundry (forgot I have to bring sheets because my son has a bed for his brother to sleep on but no sheets, and so had to wash some to take), cleaning the car seat and getting it in the car, preparing my vape stuff...Ugh! I'm exhausted! Figured I wouldn't have time to get on here in the morning so wanted to say Good night and Good Morning to all my lovely lurkers!

I'll catch you guys as I can...you guys (Dale, Lori especially ) behave!

Lots of rain and some wind today so it's going to be really soggy out. Had some rain yesterday as well. But nothing compared to the coastal communities. At least the storm is weakening somewhat. Praying for all of the folks on the coast. Looks like Hilton Head, SC is getting hit hard which is one of our favorite vacation spots.
