For a minute you had me slightly worried that you maybe like turtle stew or something. Lolol

Turtle actually isn't bad...I guess depending on how it's prepared.
A neighbor of ours on the lake had a med sized snapping turtle that he...well, it ended up in like a stew.
I kind of had no choice but to try it or risk really hurting his feelings. DH went first and let me know it was okay.
It tasted like high quality white meat chicken.

It was warm here, haven't heard the high, but it was 82 when I left work, and really windy, so it didn't really feel that warm.

I had alligator at a wedding reception once.
It was REALLY, REALLY good.
They had it two different ways, one was seasoned and smoked, and the other was BBQed.
It tasted like chicken/pork. You couldn't say that it tasted one way for sure, but seemed like both...crazy, yes...I know.

Yes, was the tail.
They had to pay something like $200 extra to the Elk's hall to be able to bring their own food in too.
