It's never a good thing when office politics get in the way of something good:( Who knows, maybe in the long run something even better will bring you guys together to give back to the community.

The broken TV might have turned out to be a good thing is disguise. Seeing as it was a Black Friday deal buster I had my doubts that we'd be able to get a replacement when we return it to the store and would have only gotten my money back. (probably should have just picked it up in the first place but at the time it seemed easier to have it delivered). Since it was cyber Monday I went online to see what they had in deals today and I found a different brand that I'd rather have for $10 less :D So I ordered it to be picked up this time;) We'll drive to Rochester on Wed and take the broken one back, get my refund, and pick up the new one:)

Hope everyone is feeling better tonight. Sending (((HUGS)))) to all of you.

That's awesome, you got a better deal! Things do have a way of working themselves out. :)

Already have moms approval for the kick scooter :thumb: Just a matter of going and getting one :)

We had cabbage and sausage and mashed potatoes for supper.

That's great that you wound up with a better deal!

Yayayayay!! Awwww, the look on her face will be priceless!

So happy to hear you're feeling much better!!
4 days off is to many. I love having the days off, but it makes me not want to go back...even though I love my job, I like being home too.
I know I'd eventually get bored, so I just keep going back.
...well, and the $$...there's that too.

I agree with Dale though, how you're feeling is not being lazy, you've been one very sick lady. :2c:

Glad it wasn't so bad with customers. :)
Sad that politics have ruined the community good deeds.
Did anyone give the "shame on all of us speech"?

Oh yum!!
I'd really love some cheesecake.

Glad it's turning out well for you!!

Good evening all.
Was a busy day at work. Still catching up, but I'll get there. :)

Unfortunately, it wasn't any of us pulling the shenanigans. We will still participate in both things that we do, this year will be the last for one of them.

The work things are good morale boosters, everyone puts aside their differences and works together as a team, which doesn't happen often.

And the supervisors wonder why the morale is in the outhouse o_O

Sara, that sucks!! Some people can't put aside their differences even for a good reason.

Mmm mmm pizza, Chinese, sausage/mashed tators. (Not a fan of cabbage) You guys are making me super hungry and I already ate dinner. ;)

We had the leftover lasagna. There were three small pieces. One for each and a side salad. I could have eaten all the myself. Bwahahaha.

Lynn, oh wow!! Pizza Hut. Breadsticks, cheese sticks. Pizza with pepperoni and mushrooms. Heaven!! Before I got married I worked full time in an office and part time at BJs wholesale (Costco, sam's club type store) they had a small food court and Pizza Hut was one of the things they served. I loved making those personal pan pizzas and breadsticks. I would buy a pizza at the end of my shift for dinner most nights. Oh so good. Lolz!

Having long weekends definitely makes Mondays 10x worse. ;)

4 days off is to many. I love having the days off, but it makes me not want to go back...even though I love my job, I like being home too.
Try going back after 5 months off!!...Now that is one long weekend! ;):p

So my first day wasn't too bad...didn't really do much of anything until this afternoon when the girl I'm replacing finally came in and was able to show me things...nice that it's so close to the house, allows me to go home for lunch...can save money that way, and even with going back and forth to work and for lunch too, it's still only a total of 8 miles each day...I drove 60 miles each day at my last job!

Even though I didn't physically do much today, I'm exhausted...couldn't fall asleep until very late since I'm way too used to being up all hours of the night...then I had to go to Wally World after work since I've been away from home for a week and a half...at least I should be able to fall asleep earlier tonight...calling it a night now...good night and sweet dreams lurkers.
