Haha! I bet, saw you standing at the bottom of your pool ;)
It is still in the same state of construction. I think they are waiting for the electric to come from the pole to the house before they finish. It has to have water soon after the finish coat to keep the pool from caving in. Right now there are two large holes in the concrete to let the water in the ground come into the pool. That relieves the pressure and keeps it from cracking.

So.... Let the ground water in until they are ready for the final coat. Put the final coat in, fill and set the filter system to run. Filter system can't run until the power company runs the line to the house.

Hopefully that should happen this week. *knock on wood*

Thanks for the cookies Dale...I'll just take a couple for after dinner. :p

Busy, busy, busy day...felt like I was back at a couple of different old jobs today...had to do some deeds for them, which I did tons of working for the lawyer and then going over blue prints for the construction portion of the company which I did in the past as well...no wonder they were quick to hire me...I've got the accounting, legal and construction knowledge rolled into one package...BF is right, I'm going to have to really negotiate at the end of the 30 days if they want to use all those different functions for me, because that's 3 jobs in one!

Wow!! That is a lot! I hope they compensate you well for all the knowledge you have.

I've been very busy. It's a good thing though :)

Looks like we now have a closing date of December 29th. This month is going to be super busy. Christmas time is travel time for us. Right after we get back, closing happens. Then the move. Thank goodness the new place is only 20 minutes away. :)

I just wanted to say I still  you all. :)

How exciting Robin! Your new home is beautiful. :)

Bet you are tired after the weekend you had and then having to work today!
We don't get much snow here where we live, too far south.

DD and Bela will be 3 hours away one way :(

I wondered about that Angel, you really should be paid very well for all the services you are providing:?:

Robin! Been missing you! And your lovely new home is almost ready! Bet you are really excited :)

Oh my goodness Dale, I'm sorry they will be so far away. ((Hugs))

Beautiful house Robin...I know you can't wait to get in and get settled. Congrats!

Yep that's the reason for the 30 day trial...and if I don't think what they are offering is fair, I can always walk...but there's no way I'm going to do all those things without more money. ;)

    Yes, please. :D

Thanks everyone. I'm glad everything worked out school wise too.

Bwahaha, after looking at Lori's pic I can't stop yawning. ;)

Ok, so what else did I miss. I'm glad to hear you guys are feeling better. Let's stay on that path, ok?

Yuck, we've been spoiled so far without the snow. I really would prefer another winter like last year. Sorry some of you have it (Fran) or it's coming your way. I think this latest round may miss us and head Grandmato5's way. ;)

Lynn, that's awesome that your son likes his job :)

Dale, I hope things go well with your daughter's move. How far away will they be?
That pic made me yawn too.
Glad the snow will miss all of you (hopefully, fingers crossed).

Oh wow. I'm sure my boss would hire you as well. He also owns ALL sorts of (commercial) income property...strip malls mostly.
Good luck, I'm sure you'll do just fine with your negotiations. :)

I knew it was a distance, but didn't realize it was that far. I think that's only about three hours from here too.

Beyond excited. Anxious, antsy, impatient.... All those things. :D fun stuff. ;)

Me too Sara, and I rarely travel farther than dad's house :(

Farthest she will have been since she was a child at Monticello all those years ago :(
I've been close to that area but don't think I've ever actually been IN Jonesboro
