It's amazing what a good nights sleep will do for a person. ;) hoping for another good one tonight.

Stove top sounds easier/quicker, especially for a school night. :thumb:
It is, quick and easy :)
    Glad you are feeling better!

Well it'll be about 60 miles round trip to go over there, but at least I won't have to see the old boss...she claims she has court, but she used to always claim that when she didn't want to have to deal with someone...fine by me because I don't time for her anyway.

I don't know about Walmart being less crazy after work, but at least the Marketplace where I go doesn't seem to attract all the crazies and since it's just the grocery store part, not as many people...that's why I prefer to go there. ;)

Yeah I could send him, but no telling what he'd come home with...if I just need one or two things I usually do send him...I just really need to remember to place my order online and then I or even the boy can just go pick it up when it's ready....if only I can remember to do it before I need it.

Good night and sweet dreams Sara.
Yep, time to start keeping a list and setting a day to turn it in ;)

Good night lovely and handsome Lurkers

    Good evening all!
    Good evening HM :)

Oh, it's really easy! Just as easy as opening that box ;)

    Good evening dear Haunted
Did you get that nice week you were hoping for? :?: How was it? :)
Sounds like it! :) I need to try it. :D

Oh by the way my new Provari got here yesterday think I'll make it my tv mod :)
 I hope you like it.
I really love mine. I bought one about 6 months or so into vaping, and they've been my main mod ever since.

The snow is gone from our forecast. Slight chance now for some on Sunday, but I don't think it will amount to much if the forecast holds. Hope you don't get much!!

Good evening everyone. Hope everyone had a nice day.

The rain has finally come and I assume it will change over to snow at some point. :(

We had raviolis, chef salad and homemade garlic bread for dinner. Dale, what kind of cheese do you use in your homemade mac and cheese? I'm always looking for something different. I usually just do sharp cheddar.

Imma go-straight-home-after-work kinda girl too. I detest stopping for anything after work (even kiddo ;) when DH is out of town ) But I know, sometimes ya have to. :nah:
    Evening Sara.
Your dinner sounds yum as well!!
Hope you don't get the snow. :nun:
    Evening,lurkers:wub:
    Evening Fran.
Guess, I won't be cheating next time. ;)

Sweet dreams Fran. Stay warm.
Somewhere I read that they dust the pre-shredded cheese with something to keep it from sticking together, and that's what makes it taste a little different from the the fresh grated.
Not sure if that's why, but you're not the first to mention that the shredded seems to taste a little different.
I think I read it on the Pioneer Woman's blog, or in one of her cookbooks.
She has a great looking homemade Mac & Cheese recipe, as does Ina Garten. :)
    Macaroni & Cheese
PW has a few as well, the link above was just one I quickly found.

A quick google search found several matches for Mac & Cheese recipes from Ina as well.
    https://www.google.com/webhp?sourceid=chrome-instant&ion=1&espv=2&ie=UTF-8#q=ina garten mac and cheese
Just because I do it that way doesn't mean you have to because I won't be making my own dumplings or pasta like some of you folks do!
I love all the input and that everyone posts their own methods. :)
I think piles of freshly shredded cheese looks amazing!!

Good evening lovely lurkers....Today wasn't too bad...boss had a city council meeting so she was only in during the morning, which allowed me to work more with the girl that's leaving. But the next 2 days will be super busy getting payroll out...and I have to take my lunch break tomorrow to go to my old office because apparently I'm an idiot and forgot my notary stamp there...kind of need it now, so have to make the drive to pick it up.

I too despise having to stop anywhere after work, but unfortunately for me, it's a necessary evil as I have no other time I can do the grocery shopping...luckily Wally World is less than a mile from work, so it's not far and I can get in and out pretty quick at the Marketplace...still wish I could avoid going altogether. :glare:

I love homemade mac and cheese...I usually make it for Christmas...not sure if I'm going to this year or not, but since my son will be home from college and I'll have at least 2 of my kids here, I might.
    Good evening Angel.
Hope the trip goes quickly, as well as the next two busy days!! I've been having a lot of busy days at work, and I just love it! The days go soooo much faster!

Hi Sara, you're sounding like yourself again! :)

I use velveeta and canned condensed milk with a little dab of corn starch to thicken, this is a stove top dish, not baked.

Good evening and good night Fran

Dull? :( I'm sorry to hear that, can't ride your scooter?

    Evening Angel:)
Bummer on using your lunch break like that:(

How about sending the boy to do some of that shopping for you? :?:
I think that's how my mom has made it. That sounds like an easy way to do it!
Bet that canned milk makes it really rich and creamy too!!
I might just have to try your way first!!

It is, quick and easy :)
    Glad you are feeling better!

    Good night Dale.

Time for me to call it a night too...Good night and sweet dreams lovely lurkers.
    Good night Angel.
    Good night lurkers:wub::wub::wub:
    Good night Bobbi.

I watched a little TV myself, kind of late getting back here though. ;)
But I wanted to catch up and say goodnight and sweet dreams to all.

Good morning everyone!! HappyFriday!! ;)

This glorious long weekend is all mine, to finish up shopping, finish decorating (more burned out bulbs :-x) and clean. The house gets REALLY messy with two males around. But I wouldn't trade them for the world.

Hope everyone has a great day. :)

    Good morning lurkers:wub::wub::wub:

One reason not to rent... part of the agreement is I shovel the walk in front and beside my apartment (I wonder if everyone has to, or is it just me so they can get to the mailbox)... 12 degrees this morning, shoveling the walk at 5:30 may annoy all of my neighbors who don't get up that early... as soon as I finished, it snowed again... oh well, I took pics for proof... now I am at work so the day is all good.:) Clay is outside shoveling the drive for the customers.:D

Oh, that can't be a good activity for you Bobbi! :(
Do be careful, way too many people have had heart attacks doing that

    Thanks Lori, I'm excited. :)

Angel, I feel your pain. Getting out of bed when it's dark outside is criminal. :( Hope today goes quickly for ya.

Sorry it takes gloomy weather to get good sleep, Dale. Glad you are rested.

Balwin, do you have a lot of snow? Hopefully everyone has to shovel and not just you. That's not right. Brrrr! Stay warm. Glad you have Clay to shovel at work :)
