    Good evening lovely lurkers.

Work was actually rather quiet this afternoon so that was nice. It's been kind of windy here too, so of course it feels even colder out there...glad I can send the boy out for dinner, because I'm definitely not going back out in that.

Lori, nice that you found those cross stitch issues...now you know that means you need to get started on some of those patterns. :p

Yum Dale, that dessert looks perfect for a cold night.

Good evening everyone. :) gah!! It is cold out there. 28.
I feel bad for all of you who aren't used to the cold and for those of you in the negative digits. At one point we had zero visibility out there but it didn't last long enough to accumulate anything. :thumb:

I knew I should have grabbed some quotes. Dale, did your eagle end up leaving the nest? ;)

Lori, that's awesome that you found some new to you, cross stitch issues. :) I miss my single days where I could come home from work, lose the bra and hang out in comfy sweats. Bwahahaha! I'm seriously considering saving up for one of those "my pillows". The older I get, the harder it is to find a good pillow. Wonder if you could use a 20% off coupon.

Balwin, I hear ya on the cold car rides. A con to having a short commute. :( did it warm up any?

Yay that the day is over for you Angel, now you get to leave early tomorrow.

Hope you all had a good day. I got caught up on laundry, watched a couple movies, made my shopping list for tomorrow, this evening we went to the mall for a visit with Santa/pics and had dinner out with my parents.

Tomorrow is parent/teacher conferences and then Christmas shopping with my dad. We go every year and then he treats me to Arby's for lunch in exchange for wrapping his presents to my mom.

    Phewww. Sorry for the novel.

Oh good!! Quiet afternoons are very nice. :)
I know. I need to get to it.
I tell myself that I'm hoarding for my retirement years.
...sometimes I think maybe I'm just hoarding.

Well, I have a bit of kitchen clean up. Made Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo.
I cheated and used jarred Alfredo sauce, but I do have an easy and fabulous recipe for it from scratch.
Cream has just gotten crazy expensive, so I just get the jarred.

Hey Angel :) About time you got a quiet day at work ;)

Hummm, speaking of Lori and cross stitch ... wonder if she finished what she took on vacation? :sneaky:

    Ugh, already 34 here
No. That was to work on in the car, and there if I wanted to.
I have that throw I want to finish before I start other projects.
I only have about a one square inch started on the the new one, it will wait. :)
    It's cold here too. :(

The "mag pak" I bought will be brand new from the original seller/artist.
The Cross Stitch Store - Counted Cross Stitch and Cross Stitch > Publications > Magazine > MagPac

The ones from eBay will be previously owned. Makes me no difference if they're new or gently used, they're just less expensive new, in a mag pak.

Wow, sounds like you had a busy day!!

Awesome find for sure. Less expensive is always a good thing. Definitely a busy day.

I sure didn't want to go out in that but we didn't want to miss out on Santa. ;)

Fettuccine Alfredo is my absolute favorite. We use jarred sauce here too. I made it from scratch once and it was too rich for the boys. Spaghetti is a close second. I debated between a burger and Cajun Chicken Pasta, betcha can't guess which one won Lolz!

Awwww, I'm dreading that moment for sure. I think he may be on the fence this year.

Haha. You just didn't want a 4th toy box in the living room. ;)
