I will take a look at snap-on to see pricing on what I need, they are pretty expensive though lol

If I can take a write off anything I get back is a plus in my eyes

When my DH first started where we work, he started as a mechanic. He didn't have tools, well not much to speak of, for that type of work, so he needed a lot.
He got his tool boxes at Sears. Craftsman.
For the basic tools he needed, he bought Craftsman, then Snap On for specialty tools, and other misc. "cool" stuff.
He'd have loved to have gotten all Snap On, but at the time, he just couldn't justify it.
If you have any pneumatic tools, *do* get the thingie that protects your equip from moisture.
He did that right away. They have permanent airlines where we're at, and he didn't want to chance getting any moisture in his air tools.
The upside of Snap On tool boxes or tools is their resale value.
Maybe OBG can add to this, but I think they hold their value pretty well for resale.
Also, if you leave your tools there, make sure you have a list of everything in case there is ever a fire or other loss.
They'll need that list for their insurance claim.
We have to do that for our mechanics...and, one year we had a *near miss* with a tornado....it only ripped off the entire roof on half our building, and some guys did have some claims...if memory serves, it's been a number of years, like almost 15 years ago.
