The girls told me last night that they saw Tomte last Christmas eve watching them when they took his porridge to the barn... Last night when the guys were getting out the bicycles to put in my van, the door started to close and the girls said it was Tomte. Oh to have the young heart to believe the old stories...

Good night lurkers:wub::wub::wub: Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night!

We finished Christmas eve, time for me to head for bed. :p

The girls liked their gifts from us. Then when we went out to leave a bowl of porridge with butter on top for Tomte they saw their new bicycles and loved them. We will take them to their house tomorrow where we will celebrate Christmas. I am so glad I only do Christmas eve here, my part of tomorrow is to take the sweet potatoes and green bean casserole.:D
I just love your Christmas Eve tradition!!
New bicycles, how exciting!!

Merry Christmas my wonderful second family, hope it's everything you want and everything you deserve once again this year. Big, mahoosive love!! X

Merry Christmas everyone I hope you all have a beautiful day with your families :)

I am waiting for my kid to get up too see all the gifts under the tree that were not there last night. Sue and I stayed up all night wrapping all the gifts until we ran out of wrapping paper

When DIL was leaving last night she still had more gifts to wrap... she said she was going to just put bows on them because she was still tired from wrapping the last bunch!

I had very few wrapped gifts under the tree, when I was little.
They were always a mixture of wrapped and unwrapped.
I think it was that once they'd assembled things, there wasn't a good way to wrap them.
They always had bows though. :)

My parents did the same thing with things needing assembly, those were usually the best toys/gifts who cared about anything else LOL
