Good afternoon all, at least those in central time zone and east. Just finished watching the Rose Parade, which still is odd for me seeing it on the 2nd and not on the 1st. I spent the night on the Rose Parade route for 7 straight years and it was a blast. But never remember it ever being on any day but the 1st back then. I was going to go out and try to get something down outside, but it's still too soggy from the rain we had earlier. I guess it's football time now .

I'm guessing because it fell on Sunday?

My parents were florists, mom always wanted to see that parade in real life...not sure why they never went though. But she'd watch it almost every year.

I just finished mixing up close to 600mls. I think I'm done for a little while. Still have one more 60mls to mix but need more VG first.

I did 60 mls of Heavenly Cake, Peach Vanilla Tobacco, Vanilla Tobacco and Bread Pudding. 50 mls of Strawberry Vanilla Cupcake, 30 mls of Black Pepper Ice Cream, Naughty Lemon, Keister Bunny, Sugar Cookie, Lucky Shot/Lotta Latte mix, Arnold Palmer, Sweet Southern Tea and Buffalo Milk. I still have a 60 ml bottle of Strawberry Milk that is mixed, just needs the VG to complete.

Thanks! I only mix about every 2-3 months unless I come across a new recipe I want to try.

Still ugly weather here...not actually raining at the moment, but very windy and more storms on the way. I just want it to stop before I have to leave tonight.

Yeah, the Rose Bowl parade doesn't run on Sundays...it's been a tradition since 1893 when the parade spooked all the horses at the churches along the route and so they decided after that to never run it on a Sunday again...they've stuck to it ever since....(Yes, I Googled it yesterday because the BF had the same question about why it wasn't running.)

Trying to enjoy my last day of doing nothing by well, doing nothing! So far, so good!

Found out this afternoon that Vicky had cancer but no one knew except for her husband. Funeral is not until Friday.

That's really sad about your friend...cancer is just such an awful thing.

Still between storms right now, but looking at the radar, there's nothing but heavy storms between here and home...should pass by in a few hours hopefully.

Got some nice, sunny weather to end up the day. Still warm out and loving it. But it's too late to get involved in anything, so today was a nice, lazy day. Watched the parade, some football, checked out some areas of the forum I haven't had time to get into in quite awhile. Back to the grind tomorrow, though.

Raining here too...grey, blah, and rain...but at least it's not SNOW!!
...ready for the SUN to come back on a regular basis though.
Wonder how many days till spring. ( I know... too many to start counting this soon)
