Good morning Lori,we could get as much as 3" of Ice I'm getting ready for it today
    Good morning. :)
Oh wow, I didn't see that. Hope you don't get that. :nun:
We're in the area for 1/4" to 1/2".
DH was looking at temps, and he didn't think the forecast lows indicated that we'd really get that much (here).
We're on the eastern edge of all of it, hoping it's just defensive forecasting, we've seen that many times before.
We never know here if our power will hold or not. Sometimes we'be been lucky, other times not.

But DH said our generator should be at the ready if we do lose power.

I'm going to pick up a couple things from the store, but we have enough food here for a month if we needed it.
If I had to, I could walk to get basic supplies at the gas station/convenience store, so no worries there.

Temps are supposed to be warmer by Monday here, so it should be short lived no matter what we get. :nun:

If you go to Weather Underground, and pull up your city, then scroll down to the section that shows the graph, you can use your cursor to drag that vertical yellow bar/line to the left or right. That will show you what time of day the temps are changing and the blue area is rain, and the pink is freezing precipitation in the form of ice or snow.
They update and change/fine tune it frequently, but it's really (pretty) accurate.
The closer the weather event gets, the better the info is.

OBG, your area and our area are going to have significant time frames all three days of above freezing temps, that's not to say we still might get some ice, but I'm hoping they're just being aggressive in their forecasting to keep people off the roads. :nun:
