Hi Paul, sounds like you had a WELL deserved break! Safe travels for your wife!Evening, everyone. I did a lot of tinkering around the house with a boatload of projects that are under way. I did take this afternoon and watch the Daytona 500, and feel guilty about losing a few hours this afternoon. Oh, well, the projects will still be there.
Just had pork roast and mashed potatoes for dinner. Kind of looking for dessert now, ummm, Dale's stuff looks great!
Tomorrow, I dash off to work for half a day, then it's off to George Bush airport to deposit my wife. She's going to be gone to Mexico all week taking care of a bunch of stuff she has to do down there. So, I'll be batching it for the week.

My wife is from Mexico and she became a U.S. citizen in August of 2016. It only cost about 1500 total, I think.My SIL had to do that a few years ago ended up costing about 12,000.00 all together but he's legal now thank God

It got me thinking though, don't you have a recipe that you use Angelfood Cake mix, and a can of fruit (pie filling)?
Wonder if that would work instead of making the cake from scratch.
