Hi Bobbi.
Thought of you again earlier...hope I'm not wearing you out with the links.
Angel Dream Cake recipe about 3/4 way through this newsletter that came out today.
Susan Branch - February, 2017
It got me thinking though, don't you have a recipe that you use Angelfood Cake mix, and a can of fruit (pie filling)?
Wonder if that would work instead of making the cake from scratch.
It sounds good...it's paired with blueberries and has a lemon glaze.

I'm always interested in new recipes. The one you are talking about makes lemon bars, my bunch loves them!

Safe travels Angel.
Had to get into my walnut stash couldn't find any pecans :D
I love both. :D

Ok, I just remember they sounded really good and easy! :)

Walnuts are good too! :)

Gonna run off now ;)

Good night lovely and handsome Lurkers
Sweet dreams Dale.

Yup and their free here if I pick them up in the fall :D Sweet dreams Dale :)
There are walnut trees around the corner from our house, a neighbor noticed that every fall a man would come and pick up the nuts that he could find.
One year the neighbor approached and asked about him about why he was collecting them, wondering if the nuts were good, because he was the only one he'd ever seen picking them up.
The man was actually a scientist at some (out of state) university. He collected them to plant to try to save the species...not sure if that's the correct terminology for trees, but you get the gist.
He said he'd managed to start A LOT of ?? baby trees ...several hundred or so from the nuts he'd collected over the years.
Off to go google the proper terminology...guess I've been out of school too long now...that's all a sad blur....

Time for more tv,see u's in the am :)
Sweet dreams OBG.

Guess I'll sign off as well.
Sweet dreams Lurkers.

No rain here yet. News says it should be here at about 10:00.
Something tells me I should try the whole bubble bath thing! We have a garden tub and it hasn't been used once in the 16 years that we have been in this house!
And I am happy for those who have been fortunate enough to have loved ones get their citizenship! My great grand parents were all from Mexico and my parents were second generation US citizens. They were so extremely pro education and stressed to my siblings and myself how blessed we are.

Made it home with no problems...managed to avoid all the parade traffic again, so that was good....it was funny, on the way home I had a text, but didn't look at it until I got home, and it was from some number in Alabama wishing me a happy birthday and asking about the boys and telling me they loved me...I have lots of family there, but I didn't recognize the number so I had to text them back and ask who the heck they were...turned out to be my stepmom...she had gotten a new number and forgot to tell me...was freaking out for a minute there, thinking some weirdo was sending me messages......

Now to go set up my coffee for the morning and get ready for bed, even though I'm not tired right now...I know I'll be dragging in the morning, but that's about par for the course...good night and sweet dreams all!

Good morning, lovely Lurkers .
Short day at work today. Plenty to try to accomplish in the half day. But I never look forward to driving into Houston. If I time it right, I'll beat rush hour traffic coming back home. If I can make it over the beltway to the tollway, might not be bad, although, I-10 thoroughly stinks until I get way out of Houston.
Second cup of coffee calls to me. Hope everyone has a good day!

Morning Paul and Fran! Be careful on the road Paul. May your wife have a safe week and return well. Don't get use to the bachelor life because she will be back home before you know it.
Good morning, chili! Thanks, I'll do my best to get back in one piece, and her, too :). I won't get used to being by myself. It will be nice to have a little time to myself though. That is just way too rare.

Morning Lori!
It is indeed going to be a long day! You are I will sleep good tonight. I never sleep well on Sunday night because I stay awake thinking of lesson plans and how the week will go. Tonight is freshman fish camp at our HS so today is a 7:30 am to 8:30 pm day! I will get home at 9 and probably just fall into bed!
Gotta get ready. Maybe I can pop in during a break today :)
