I have the book, years ago, my SIL had a set of 5 or 6, "classics", that were part of a book club, then she quit the book club.
She had them on a rummage sale, so I bought them.I'm going to try to read them this summer.

Okay, can't find it, but I did find that "scholars and devoted readers have been arguing the books literary merits for years"....so, it could be that I read someone on the side that believes it's a classic.
