Oh wow Dale, that sounds like a very busy day...I don't envy you that...although tomorrow is Wednesday, so my busy day too...we'll see what fresh hell it brings this week.

and then saw them headed to MN for her family reunion. Monday we made the rounds of several cemeteries for his family. It was hot all weekend and I got a nice sunburn wandering through all the cemeteries yesterday. We stopped at a hotel yesterday at about 3:30 and except for waking up to eat at 10pm, we all 3 slept til about 8:30 this morning! I think even Yoda was exhausted, he dropped on the cool tile floor in the bathroom and refused to move!Some good, some not so. The good news is it is over. After everyone got the digitals of all the photos I had to fight to pawn the hard copies off but managed to get rid of most of them. While we were loading them to go, we found another box that had been missed while I was scanning.Welcome home Bobbi!

His cousin brought more photos from his mom but only a couple hundred so now, I have a few hundred more to scan. The good news is I have a year to do it...and based on this year, I will mail them all their shares!
Mostly, we are just happy to be home, in our quiet little nest, with no children and no set times for every single thing.

Yep...and funny, they rarely ever leave a message. If they don't leave a message, I give them a day or so, if they don't call back...I block the number.
I figure family, and really important places have both home and cell. Now that mom and dad are both gone, I just don't feel the need to answer those numbers anymore.
