Good morning lurkers!:wub::wub::wub:

Paul hope the rest of the job goes easy!

Happy Anniversary Dale!:wub::wub::wub:
Hi Bobbi.
Good morning Dale, Lori, Wuzzy, Joey and Bobbi

Happy Anniversary Dale!!

That's awful about the hotel, Lori. :nah: And wow, I can't believe the bear and her cubs got that close to humans  That's crazy!!
Hi Sara.
Yep, that's what I thought too. :)
Good morning my lovely lurkers.

Oh yuck Paul...sorry you had to deal with that...glad you got it fixed up though.

Happy Anniversary Dale!

Oh boy did I eat way too much last night at the buffet...the food was great, but I definitely overdid it...and then having a drink after put me over the top and I was seriously uncomfortable...had a terrible stitch in my side and just felt horrible...had to come back to the condo and lay down...ended up falling asleep early and sleeping it off...feel just fine today...hoping to get out to the pool in a bit, before the rain comes again.

Hope everyone is having a great day.
Hi Angel.
So easy to do on vacation. Glad you're feeling better! Hope the rain doesn't cut into your pool time!
DH and I were planning some aspects of our upcoming vacation last night.
I have a feeling I'll be exhausted when we get back.

Ugh. I can relate. Twice...

House I owned here in San Antonio many moons ago was built on the cheap, including the city utility hookups. City would put those cast iron sleeves around the water meter with absolutely no support underneath them. So eventually, the sleeve would be resting on the water lines, eventually breaking them. After the 3rd or 4th time repairing the damned thing (it always broke on MY side, not theirs), I started yanking those stupid iron sleeves out of the hole and just left the cover there. Ended up with a couple of dozen of those damned things in my garage.

Place I was renting in Austin about 12 years ago, developed a backed up drain line which flooded the master bath. After an emergency trip to Home Depot to snag a shop vac, I called the issue in to the management company. Plumber came out and discovered that the old iron piping under the house had collapsed. They ended up digging up the yard and under the foundation to replace it all. Fun times.

Sounds like fun times indeed! I have an older house that was built in 1940 and it's been so fun trying to fix things up to more modern conditions! These water lines were original lines and so terribly corroded. The PEX lines should last me quite a long time. I've already replumbed the whole house in PEX. All except a few galvanized pieces that I have to do yet, just not interested in crawling around under the house just yet. I know my sewer line is next. It's old clay pipe and it's crumbling. Still works, but during the summer you can tell where the line is as the grass is semi green except where the line runs, and it's a nice, rich green. I hope to finish up my water line project tomorrow, or the day after. It was just way to busy at work today and couldn't make it over to buy a few parts I needed. Get it tomorrow.

Oh Paul, hope you can relax some. You've sure had a full plate!!

Welp, off to clean up the kitchen and my evening routines.
I know. I could use a little break. Enjoy your evening, Lori!

Oh good that it was good company!
It takes a bit to get done and to the sofa when you get home after 5:30 (or closer to 6  ).
I have two coils to clean, and a load to dry and one to fold, then I'm off to the sofa myself.

Ugh! I couldn't bear to do chores tonight! Tuesday's are my hardest, most painful days.

Hope you finish shortly and can relax ;)

Hahaha, you guys are ready for the sofa and I'm ready to go to bed ;)

So glad you got to visit with Bela, Dale :)

Angel, hope the weather cooperated and you were able to get some pool time :)

    Lori, going anywhere exciting?

We're headed to VA Beach for a week next month. I can't wait. Hoping to finally experience some real summer weather before winter returns ;)

Well, sweet dreams everyone. Time to catch some zzzz's

Ohhhhh, you'll have fun for sure!! Should be lots to do there in the summer.
We went to VA Beach year's ago. But it was mid-Oct., so no beach stuff, and a lot of local places were "closed for the season".
It was a work related deal, so very little out of pocket expense for us.
We went to Colonial Williamsburg, toured The USS Wisconsin, drove through the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel *shudder*, and went to The Virginia Aquarium...not in that order.
Home ~ Virginia Aquarium & Marine Science Center

Yes, well I think our vacation will be exciting. DH won a cruise through one of the equipment mfr.'s., so we'll have one day in The Bahamas, one day at Royal Caribbean's private island in The Bahamas, one day in Key West, and one day at sea.
We're going to fly out of a small airport near here (for cheap, like 2 non-stop/roundtrip flights, and a full size rental car for a week for $550.00), so we'll spend the weekend after we get off the ship in The Keys.
We figured that who knows if or when we'll ever be back that far into S. Florida, so may as well do it.
DH had enough hotel points to get two of the nights free, so we'll just have one night in a hotel, and food for the weekend.

    Sweet dreams Sara.
Good night lovely and handsome Lurkers
    Sweet dreams Dale.

Good morning Fran, Lori and lurkers

Lori, that sounds like an awesome time!! Never been to any of those places. DH won't fly anymore after a flight with really nasty turbulence.

VA Beach has been an annual vacation for us for the last 3 years. Not too far to drive and it's warm. ;) Last year my parents went with us. We were trying to coordinate the whole family but this year no ones vacations matched up. I think that would be fun.

Have a great day everyone. :)

    Hi Fran.
    Good morning Sara.
Can't say that I blame him. I don't like to fly either. ;)

    Good morning Dale.
    Yea for Wednesday!!
I wouldn't mind trying flying but would hate dealing with boarding stuff with my bad hearing.
