Thanks for all the good wishes...Princess is no worse for wear, except some scratches and a couple of bruises...I picked her up this afternoon and had her here with my family until just a little while ago...she did say she was scared when I asked her if she wanted to go for a ride, but then she went and got in the car anyway...I'm just hoping she doesn't have nightmares later...she kept telling us her mommy's car got all broken...poor baby.

I'm just so, so grateful she was in that car seat and it did it's job...according to a few people I know who saw the accident, they say it was amazing no one was killed...both cars were destroyed and the car they were in flipped several times...no wonder that baby is scared.

Her mommy (not my daughter actually, son's soon to be ex wife) was released this evening from the hospital...she's pretty banged up, but no broken bones it seems...does have back and neck pain, but hopefully a few days rest and she'll be okay...the guy who hit her ran the red light and just plowed into her going about 50mph...it's amazing no one was hurt worse. If I had actually been at work today, I would have probably seen it because it was on the corner near my office and their car landed in my boss's MIL's yard...I probably would have freaked out once I figured out it was my granddaughter...thank goodness I wasn't there.

How horrible! It's a miracle they are alive much less out of the hospital already

My daughter and I were just talking about red light runners this afternoon,her DH just about got nailed on his way home from work today and I've had 2 .....'s almost get me in the last month and I don't just jump out there when the light changes,glad Princess and her mom are ok rollovers are no fun

People are getting worse on the roads every year it seems. Always in such a hurry, distracted driving, what have you. I'm beginning to hate driving anything other than the back country roads.

Yep, never so thankful as I have been today...and scared too...Princess probably thinks we've all lost our minds because we couldn't stop hugging on her and making sure she was okay.

I am worn out from all the emotional turmoil of the day...good night and sweet dreams lurkers.

Was up late and woken at 2 from a storm. So I'm tired, at a first glance I read this as "it's chilly here and I have to drop my van off for socks."

*I SLEPT GOOD LAST NIGHT*

We went to bed somewhere between 10 and 10:30, I think I fell right to sleep, and didn't wake up once until quarter til 5 this a.m.
Went back to bed for another hour.

Same here with people running red lights. I never venture out before checking that all are stopping.
I don't mean the ones that just flat run it late, a lot of times here, anywhere from 1 to 3 cars will still be going (slowly) through the lights. Especially turn lights.
It's maddening. No respect for others.

Thanks for the link KC. I'm good though, but we often share when we see good deals cuz you never know.

Not much going on here this a.m., been watching some recorded stuff with DH and just laying around so far.

I didn't sleep so well...kept having terrible dreams about the baby's accident yesterday...but I checked and they said she slept okay, so I'm happy with that.

Now I'm just waiting for family to show up...I still haven't seen my brother...that toothache he has is really killing him...my dad is staying at the same hotel and they said his face is so swollen and he can hardly talk. He tried to come up to the house yesterday so he could go out to eat with us, but his car broke down on the way...we offered to go get him, but he was so frustrated and in pain, he just went back to the hotel...I feel so bad for him because this is supposed to be his vacation and all he's had so far is pain and car trouble.

Hope everyone enjoys their Saturday and has a lovely day.
