One more after today! I've been having to run DW into work and picking her up in the evening as her car is now in the shop. I think our mechanic in town here was a doctor before with the prices he charges! Dale, I feel for you. Hope the repairs on your mom's Lincoln won't be horrendous.
It's lovely feeling outside! Down into the low 60's! I can handle that. Beats waking up to 80+ with high humidity. Everyone, enjoy your day!

$1000? Gads, I'd have a stroke. Ours will probably be about a third of that just to replace one of the ignition coils.

Dale if it just quit running do a search for that year,make,Model it might just need the fuel pump reset button pushed,My grandmother had one that tripped all the time on speed bumps and pot holes hers was in the trunk but ford put them a number of places

Course, it was 47 degrees here this a.m.

Okay, eye exam and new glasses ordered....free trial pair of multi Rx contacts (my Rx) given to me to try....$80 for fitting for that. I'm sure the cost of the "free" pair is rolled in that fee somewhere.
It was definitely TIME though for new glasses. Oh my gosh, she showed me the difference with what my current Rx is, and then with the new glass slides, whatever they're called. Wow, BIG DIFFERENCE.
It's amazing how bad your vision can be getting and not realize it.

Off to try to nap. 4 a.m. seems like a LONG time ago.
