PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – All jokes aside, tonight is the night if you want to see Uranus.

The plant will reach opposition on Oct. 19, meaning it will be directly opposite the sun, bringing it closer and brighter to earth.

Experts say you may be able to see the icy blue planet with the naked eye, but if not, binoculars should do the trick.

NASA says Uranus should be visible all night long and its blue-green color is unmistakable.

Where should you look to find Uranus?

The experts say start in the southeast sky within the constellation Pisces, the fish.

“Scan the constellation carefully, and look for a tiny blue-green disk to pop out against the background of fainter stars,” National Geographic Magazine says.

    :D

Wow, might have to see if I can see it!! Thanks!!
    ...all jokes aside.

Okay, need to clean up the kitchen...not much to do though. Thankfully.

...hate to even mention it, or admit it, but I think I might be getting the first cold of the season.:nah:
Course the farmers are all harvesting soybeans and corn, all that dry dust that comes off the fields when they chop up everything, and just have been so dry here anyway...could just be allergies, but feeling a bit run over, and getting clogged...ugh.

Good morning Dale, Sara, and the sleeping Lurkers.
I'm okay, just dragging, not sick Dale. :). Beginning to think that dust they stir up during harvesting just doesn't agree with me at all...we'll see.

Hope you could see it OBG. :)

KC, I figured you'd be familiar with Heil. He seems to be well respected in the industry, and exceptionally good at what they do.

Well, I'm off to eat and get ready for work. Have a good day all.
    TGIF!!

Good morning, Dale, Lori, OBG, KC, Sara and anyone else I might have missed. TGIF! And we are supposed to have rain this weekend. Maybe I'll have a weekend of down time.
    Lori, glad you're not sick!
Everyone, enjoy your day and may it be short and fast. Time to dive into my work. Later!

So I'm keeping my fingers crossed. The change of seasons is usually a good time for me to get a cold, but such is life...no biggie...a cold is a cold, is a cold. ;)

    Good morning Paul.
    Yea on the rain!!
DH is on his way to Austin for the F1 race. Supposed to rain there this weekend too.
I was invited, but it's too much walking for me. Last year he walked 30+ miles over the course of two days.
    ...no thanks.
They just get general admission tickets, they have a spot they like to sit at.
He goes with a friend who is also a customer of his, and they split expenses, so it's a relatively cheap trip for them. I think this will be his third one...but don't quote me. Lol's.
