Good morning Dale, Retired and lurkers :)

Dang Dale, up early again aren't we?

Went to bed early last night so was up at 4 today. Let Trixie out and heard coyotes fairly close by. Looks like I need to get a rifle sooner rather than later (besides, I can use it for wild boar and fill the larder :D ).
:shock::shock::shock:

    Good morning Dale.
:(. Sorry you were up so darn early!
Not me, I was in bed by 10:30, later than I wanted to be, but just didn't get off the couch and go.
    Slept until 8 again!!

    Good morning R1.
DH heard some fairly close the other night.
    Barking/howling at a train whistle.

Good morning Dale, Retired and lurkers :)

Well, even if you went back to bed at 7, you still haven't gotten much sleep. :(

Not feeling like doing the yard work today.
DH always tells me to leave it, he'll get to it, but I generally like piddling in the yard (some)...we'll see. If I don't get to it, it will be there come spring. ;)

    Need more coffee...and breakfast.

Oh, something long range eh? ;)
That's the preferred method for coyotes, I believe, but not legal in all states...at least that's my understanding.
I think it depends on the states terrain.
Someone told me years ago that in a flat, wide open space, a bullet could travel 3 miles, or nearly 3 miles......something like that...the guys will know.

    Good morning Lori

Nope, not a lot of sleep but probably enough ... if not I can nap again this afternoon ;)
I didn’t get to bed until 11:30 and then read awhile.

I have some indoor chores for the day I hope I do.

You are correct on that distance ... course it depends on the gun too.

    On second pot

True on taking a nap. :) I may be doing that later too. Decided to go outside and just gitter done. ;)
I always dread it, but like it to look neat and tidy....tidier.

I don't know much about any guns. :) Prob should though. ;)

Okay, I'm off to get my work knocked out.
    CU later.

    Good morning OBG.
    That's cool!

Whew. The front it done, urns to the back, turned upside down, geraniums ready for a final once over before bringing them in.
Big, ole nasty dec. grass cut down and bagged.
I hate it...need to just dig it out and be done with it, but that's for another day...when I have help.

Going to eat lunch and see if I still have energy to start the ground cover. Thought for a bit it was going to rain, but now I think that's passed through.
Course the breeze also died down...ugh....we'll see.

3 miles is 15840 ft. if a bullet were fired at 3000 feet per second about a 30/06 Horizontally it would take it a little over 5 seconds to go 3 miles, but good old gravity pulls them down at about 32 ft per second of flight time (see where this is going) so in order to get the same bullet to go 3 miles 5secX32FPS=160 feet of drop, your point of aim would need to be up in the sky somewhere.I think y'all get the picture but if you find a need for exact numbers for a load let me know I can provide them :D

    There ya go. :D Lol's...
So, unless you're trying *really* hard, you aren't going to get that to travel 3 miles....flat terrain, or not...it sounds like.

    Hi OBG
Figured you’d know all of that ;)

Slowly but surely getting things done despite a severe case of don’t wannas :p

We are supposed to get rain this weekend sometime Lori but starting to doubt it’ll be today, it’s been very cloudy but the sun is breaking through ... probably warming things up for the storm ;)

    Good evening lurkers :)

Yep...;) breakfast, laundry, football, shopping for meats and veggies, more laundry, vacuumed downstairs, cleaned 2/3 bathrooms, cooking meats for the freezer, another load of laundry, went to this local Mexican place for dinner. Yum yum. I had chicken chimichangas with refried beans. Stuffed and ready for bed. :D

Sounds like ya'all were busy too. Hope you had a good day.

I’m hoping the lack of posts just means everyone had better things to do today :)

    Good evening lovely lurkers.

Sorry I haven't been around much this week, have been super busy all week and so dang tired once I get home that I just haven't felt like doing much of anything...guess princess really wore me out more than I thought and I'm just now recovering from it.

You all talking about guns, bet you don't have one quite like mine...bet you can't figure out what makes mine unique to me. ;)

Dessert looks great Dale, but still waiting on dinner here...oh well, enjoying my daiquiri while I wait. :D

Hope everyone is having a great weekend. :)
