I was expecting a good day. Today and tomorrow off, with decent weather-instead of wind chills in the negatives, highs are in the 50's, but rainy. Have a bit more money than I thought. But I was expecting to get to spend a good bit of today and tomorrow with a lady friend, who also has today and tomorrow off, but I haven't heard from her all day. So, so far, it's been, kind of eh.
Aw, I’m sorry :( I assume you tried to contact your friend

I got a text from the electric co today that says expect tree trimmers for next 12 weeks :)
We had that mess back during the summer, every where you went they were in the way. Now someone is digging up the roads out where we live and laying pipes  Had to take a long detour one day to get home from work.

Yep, we had that going on here a few months back too...and yep, they were constantly in the way...and now they're digging up the roads near my house too...must be that time of year I guess.

Hope the antibiotics help and that your throat feels better soon.

    Good evening all.

Very long day. Guess my body can't decide if it wants to be sick or well, I keep going back and forth.
I'm actually off tomorrow, have a (much needed) hair appt. in the a.m., and that's it...plan it so be on the sofa the rest of the time resting...we'll see how that works out.

Gal who does the cash stuff is supposed to be back tomorrow, but off Friday because her DH has a procedure, which we've known about for several weeks...

KC, we're supposed to get snow/ice, or ice/snow, or who knows...tomorrow afternoon and into Friday.
We've already made it clear we're not going in if the roads are bad. We're pretty much non-essential (to an extent), and we can catch up next week.
Hope you don't have problems, hate when anyone has to drive on that crap. :(

Dale, glad you got an antibiotic!! Hopefully that will help and you'll get to feeling better quick.

OBG, hope the tree trimmers don't make too big of a mess, or get in the way, and start at a decent time, course...you're usually up before the rooster anyway.

Joey, hope you're recovering from PT, your dinner sounds wonderful!! :)

...that's about all I can remember. Forgot to grab quotes again.
Need to eat and I'm ready to go soak.

    BBL. :)

Busy day! Good evening lurkers

Dale, so glad you got an antibiotic. You'll be feeling better in no time.

Lori, hopefully after some more rest tomorrow you'll be good as new or if the roads are bad then you can have a long weekend to get better.

KC sorry your getting some crappy weather. Hopefully it's not too bad.

Sorry about the tree trimmers, OBG.

Joey, hope your doing ok with the pt. Mmmm, pasta and meat sauce. Just cooked and froze 2lbs of meat for meat sauce this evening.

Well, tomorrow it will be in the 50s, close to 60 at bedtime. Friday into Saturday we're expected to get about a foot of snow :eek::eek: that's a whole lotta snow in a very short time.
