Ya win some ya lose some with the eagles. I love that they have a camera so we can maybe catch a glimpse into their world. I think it’s fascinating because in real life I’m terrified of birds. while I’d love to see one in the wild, it would probably scare the you know what outta me



Haha. We did this too, last night. I hand washed what wouldn’t fit this morning and had to wait til now to start it up (soccer game) course the sink is full of dinner dishes now I’m not washing all those by hand in the morning, so hopefully we can catch up tomorrow night. I did rinse everything.

Lucy and I went to bed, DH stayed up late working and every so often (seems like when I would fall asleep) he would make a noise that set Lucy off barking. I think back on how funny it was she didn’t bark much for the first week she was here. Now, she’s barking up a storm. I was wide awake half the night

Geesh, sounds like it was a bad night for several!!
Rita didn't bark for the first year we had her, we wondered if she even could. She finally got comfortable and found her "voice", Lol's. She doesn't bark often though, and it's usually just a few barks, then she's done.
What's funny is when she gives a low, grumble like growl after she quits barking.

Thanks, lord knows they will still be there when I get home with a few more added I’m sure.

Those low growls are comical (when they are for no real reason). Lol Lucy sounds downright terrifying when she does that. Last night when she startled me awake, I could feel my body clench (hands, stomach, head) I’m sure I didn’t explain that right but it was the oddest sensation, like flight or fight mode, until I realized everything was ok and DH had woken her up.

I'm vaping a mix of French Toast, and Cinnatoast Munch (MVB)...need to mix up some of my DIY.
Since we went on that cruise, I didn't want to take DIY stuff, wanted to take bottles with printed mfr. labels, so I'd ordered MBV....wow, had forgotten how smooth theirs was....have kinda been lazy about DIY.
Theirs is so inexpensive anyway, I just have been ordering from there.
But...really should mix up some soon.

OHHHHHHHHHHHHHH....AND...........I saw an eagle in real life today while I was out running errands.
Sooooooooooo majestic, sitting in a tree along the side of the road in the area where we often see them.

...things are not great at the Hanover Pa. eagle nest.
New female has moved in, eggs from the previous pair of eagles are no longer viable, and last I checked, the new female was eating them.
The circle of life ain't always pretty in the wild...so hard to watch, and I'm not even a "regular" there.
Sara, I'm sure you're just heartbroken.

Lucy is home. She did well with the surgery/microchipping. Feel bad for her though because she looks so uncomfortable and is panting away. She looks like a haunched over yoda with her little ears flopped low. Lol
