I’m guessing I will be parentless before I reach 45I don’t think so. If she ever quits it’ll have to be for herself.

I’ve never heard of guacamole causing high ironThe dr told her that her iron levels are too high. I told her this evening it had nothing to do with the guacamole she eats. It’s her drinking. She already admitted to me previously she doesn’t want to live past my step dad and she “ didn’t have a clue about the guacamole vs alcohol” but I say a big fat “whatever”. Silently of course.
Not good either way You’re notSorry. Didn’t meant to be a Debbie downer. I’m looking for an al anon group to go to.![]()
I googled high iron levels at Xmas time. She had gone to the dr and had blood work done. High iron. Which is caused by a number of things. But for her I’m guessing it’s the alcohol.I’ve never heard of guacamole causing high ironNot good either way

I thought so too. But it fits. She drinks A LOT when my step dad is working the afternoon shift. It’s no excuse. But she has had an extremely hard life.Alcohol causes high iron? Weird![]()
But I also don’t believe she would quit. It’s a disease. Well...I believe both are to a certain extent.

Don’t exchange a good habit for a bad one because of someone else’s problem.I thought so too. But it fits. She drinks A LOT when my step dad is working the afternoon shift. It’s no excuse. But she has had an extremely hard life.
