Rain is over now it looks like. We had right at 3". This weekend is supposed to be beautiful. And today is my Friday! I do have a job to do for someone this weekend. I just can't say no to repeat customers. And if it dries sufficiently, I'm also going to try to get the mowing done.

Joey, I’m sorry about your hip and having to be off another 4 weeks.
Paul, hopefully this project tomorrow won’t take too much of your time and you’ll still have a nice long weekend

Ya’all should take this cold medicine I’m taking, knocks me out all night. Weird dreams too lol Thanks for the well wishes. Sure wish I felt human again. Kiddo had a play date yesterday (here) didn’t want to cancel because he’s going a bit stir crazy. I did warn the mom I’m battling a cold. Then we had a soccer game. Thought getting out of the house would do me some good. Slept this morning until 9:30.

We have more rain. Woke to rain, and it's been coming down at a steady pace (literally) all day. I think the system has stalled over us....

What's the magical cold medicine?
Good afternoon all.
Had a lazy morning with my coffee looking at a DVD of Just Cross Stitch magazines. I'd ordered a DVD that has something like 10 years worth of the magazine on one CD/DVD...60 issues.
Then when I got done looking through some of that I jumped in and got going on my chores....so, late getting here.
Just parked my frannie on the sofa and I'm going to stitch a bit until it's time to get dinner going.
I think it's going to be soup, salad, and grilled cheese tonight...good choices for a chilly, rainy, gray day.

Sounds like the perfect way to spend a rainy day and dinner sounds wonderful. Alka Seltzer cold and flu nighttime. Couple of fizzy tablets in some water and out like a light.

I dunno bout the fish. But maybe the chips smell good We were supposed to have the roast but DH didn’t get it in the crockpot in time. Figured it wouldn’t be good for kiddo to eat around 8 so we swapped it out for tomorrow and went to dinner tonight. I had a little bit of baked rigatoni, the boys split a pizza. Think the fresh air will do me some good. Raining here too, all day. Perfect napping weather.

Wild vivid dreams for sure...and yes, slept like the dead.
That stuff scared the crappola out of me.
Took it once and threw the stuff away.
Your dinner out sounded very nice.

Hope they get her fixed up with her new Rx.
I still don't like my new ones.
They're fine most of the time, but pulling into the garage I just can't get the areas to focus the way I want, so I'm always further over than I need to be, which makes a tighter fit getting out.
