Good evening all.

Well...it's been a day!
Thought Rita had a bad tooth this a.m.
I called as soon as they opened at nine and they had a cancellation for 10 so I ran her there (45 minutes)...and finally got in to see the vet at 11.
While there waiting, she perked right up like nothing was wrong.
They said that actually happens quite a lot.
People say the pet lays around acting half dead for days, and as soon as they bring them they start perking up...kind of like a kid feels better all of a sudden if faced with going to the Dr.
Thankfully it was indeed a false alarm.
Dr. cleaned her teeth with a hand tool, and said the ones she has left look good and healthy.
Didn't charge a penny for the visit.

Was noon by the time I got back home, ate and took a nap.
Been doing laundry and stuff ever since...finally made it to the sofa.

Sounds like everyone is mostly having a good day except for shopping for clothing, the heat (it's miserable here too), and forgetting the shopping list.

was so tired after work just cleaned up and went to bed yesterday

am still felling a bit sore, but swelling is going down finally.
I think the heat/recovery from the surgery has been wearing me down more than usual.

Hoping every one has a great weekend / Father's Day!

Whelp someone got a nice Father’s Day gift today or maybe they won’t get it. Two theatre tickets purchased in NYC on my dime. Called Discover to dispute and get the card canceled. So glad I signed up for text alerts when the card is used.

Thanks Dale, yeah definitely aggravating. The only things I’ve used my card for was bed bath and beyond and the coffee shop. Both are places I frequent, although BB&B was online. Happy that it was my cc and not my debit card.

Sara, I hate when that happens...have had those things happen to me way too often. I've lost track of the number of times one of my cards has been compromised and had to be replaced...luckily every time the CC company contacted me about it when it happened. Still a pain in the .... to deal with.

Hope everyone is having a lovely Sunday...still being lazy here...just surfing the net and watching some TV.

I just napped but was busy up until I did.

Not a lot to report from here.
Hot as Hades, 95 with a feels like of 100.
Made cold tuna pasta earlier, for dinner tonight...just one load of towels left and I'm done with laundry.
Still need to update the checkbook, and clean a few coils...
Always something...
