Good afternoon KC

Freshly opened coffee smells sooo good!

Good late afternoon/evening all.
Have been having a LAZY day!!
Had a wonderful nap too.

I always turn off the water in the basement if I'm going away for more than a day,I put in a nice ball valve just for that

DH has turned ours off in the basement before too. I don't know what sort of shut off we have though.

Sara, I've unplugged some small things before too, but haven't in awhile.

Dale, glad you slept better!!

Brats and Mac & Cheese for dinner.
Was supposed to be dinner last night, but we'd snacked and weren't hungry.

...and with that, Rita is awake, ready to go out and then I'll feed her.
It *all* revolves around her at this point dontchaknow.

Evening lurkers lazy days are good for you girls. Need them every so often.

We went to the new Mexican place in between here and my brother’s for family dinner. It wasn’t too bad. The place closer to us is better.

I inventoried our vacation supplies and hit Walmart this morning. Did a lot of laundry because we were gone most of yesterday, made my list, checked it twice and started packing. Need to paint my toes but I’m stuffed. I’m going to have to teach kiddo how to do that kidding.

We finally got some much needed rain last night into this morning. Hope you’re all having a nice quiet evening.

Over 100 all weekend and today, 105, ugh! I had a 16 foot trailer I borrowed to load debris from the house demo and construction, but my BIL needed it back to haul some stuff himself. So, I'm going to buy my own, hopefully today. I have a good pile of stuff upstairs I need to load up for the dump. I've needed my own for quite some time so now's a good time. Hope you all are staying as cool as you can.
