Welp, going to be a long day.
The Hootenanny is tonight, the band will be across the street, scheduled to play from 8 pm until 12, beer wagon and margarita stand said open til 12:30, according to the work list email...hoping they cut off earlier and the rest of the time is just clean up.
It all starts at 5, inflatables for the kiddos, and food.
I'm leaving work at 4, hoping to get home before our road gets closed and too crowded with people.
I was told I could still get through on our street to our house, but that they are closing the street.
We often go to the lake, but decided to stay this time.
There's always a lot of county deputies, sherrifs, etc., but still hate leaving the house empty.
Had a busy day yesterday....cleaning and laundry.
Was too pooped by the time I got to the sofa.
Have a good day all, and for those working, I hope it flies!!

Naw, not really....so far, pretty quiet, but that will change soon enough.
Hopefully it will be an uneventful evening for all the Hootenanny goers.
