Good morning lovely lurkers. :wub:

Took the weekend to be totally lazy, and I can say I succeeded greatly at that! :p

Now we're getting ready for a hurricane, so today will be busy at both work and home with preparations...as of right now, we are in line for a direct hit. :shock:...Not too worried really, just more worried about how long we'll be without power. :glare:

Hope everyone had a great weekend (since I haven't read back to see) and has a great day.

    It has actually been a beautiful sunny day here today...but the rain bands are starting to come in and wind is starting to pick up...luckily looks like it'll stay a tropical storm, so that's good and maybe hit just east of us, like the city next door, but all that is good and can keep the wind and rain down...still it won't come thru here until after 10 tonight, just like Hurricane Nate did last year...we lost power for 8 hours in that one, but at least it was in the middle of the night, so just slept thru most of it...hopefully it won't be any worse than that one...we are under a curfew here until 7 tomorrow morning...such fun being stuck here with someone who is complaining because they can't go out...not that he had anywhere to go, he's just mad that he can't if he wanted to...UGH! Kids! :rolleyes::glare:

    Hi everyone :)

    Hope everyone is safe and sound with all the crappy weather that is around !!

    Got the night off, hip is still giving me issues but is getting a little better.

    I just put a big brisket to smoke on the grill will be ready around breakfast time :drool::drool:

    Storm mostly passed us by...a little rain, but nothing bad here...the county next door got pounded though...but overall we down here got off easy.

    Joey, yum on the brisket...your daughter is adorable...glad you had a fun day together...hoping your hip gets better each day.
