I stepped out this morning and saw nothing but stars, so maybe it won't be bad today. Just wish it would cool down significantly more. I sure wish I could afford to hire people to help me. Doing this on my own stinks. My problem is that my homeowner's insurance is going over to another company and they will do an exterior home inspection. That should be interesting. I know I won't have it near done by that time.

Time for more coffee, then get busy. You all have a restful, nice weekend!

Eh, we got some. I should be grateful for it

Don’t know why it took me so long to think of boning out that pork .... Done now and in the crockpot Plus I have two fist sized mini roasts for another day

Great idea, Dale and now you have 3+ meals. Woot! We are having eggplant parmigiana tonight. DH is going to teach kiddo. Which means, I’m not on cooking duty but no doubt I’ll have cleanup duty. Bwahahah.

3 at the very least There’s going to be a lot of meat in that crockpot so I’ll probably only bbq part of it, then we can have roast pork with mashed potatoes one time and bbq at least twice from what I’m cooking today. It’ll be tomorrow before I can do the bbq.

Nice to have someone else do the cooking isn’t it

Sometimes Depending on what DH is making, he is a very, VERY messy cook. I try to keep my complaining and back seat cooking to a minimum because his eggplant is awesome. I purposely waited to mop the floor today

Absolutely. The floor is greasy, already see it. Don’t even know how that happens. I rarely drop grease. I told him he is helping me this time.

Really wish we could have a good ole thunderstorm after the sunsets. I love to watch the lightening but it hasn’t happened in a long time.

Sounds like a good Saturday!! Kiddo’s eggplant was delicious....of course.

Got a new to me radio from a coworker at a steal of a price. Will wait a while before setting it up tho, wife has an old time friend coming in and am not sure if the power supply I have on hand is big enough for this radio.

What kind of radio? Ham? CB? I’m not even sure if those are similar things. My dad had a CB radio when I was a kid. Woot!! For having tomorrow off.

A hamburger and tator tots Don’t want to fiddle with that pork anymore tonight. I de-fatted it and put it in a big bowl, will separate and bbq some tomorrow.
