Mmmmm meatloaf. That is coming up soon in the rotation. Next up chili, with beans. ;) I know some chili doesn’t include beans. But ours always did.

I’m whooped. Sweet dreams Dale and lurkers.
I put beans in mine too. Have a good night Sara

    Good morning all.

Ugh...the dreaded roll the clocks back weekend!!
I guess I really don't mind gaining the extra hour, just hate that the days are so darn short now. Dark, dark, dark.
Ah well, guess there are much worse things in life. :)

Sara, so sorry you're not feeling well. Hope it's short lived!!
Your soup looks wonderful!! Awesome when there's extra enough to freeze!!
Kiddo looked super cute, and the carved pumpkins were awesome!!!

Dale, LOVELY Sunday breakfast buffet and quotes!!
I especially love the one about being planted!! So true!!
How about I made meatloaf on Thursday!!
    :w00t: GMTA!!
But only one, our packages are 1 lb.

Have a good day KC!! Thanks for the morning cuppa!!

Never made it to the forum yesterday.
Was a busy day, chores all morning, then we *finally* got our pool closed.
This is the latest we've done that.
We always try to hold off as long as possible because it's so depressing to look out at, but with DH being gone two weekends in Oct., then last weekend it was really crappy weather.
It doesn't take long, longer this year that normal because so many of our water bags that hold down the cover were finally *done*. So several of those were filled only to find out they had leaks.
Thankfully we had a box of new ones as back up.
It's done now for another year. :).
Was pooped to the inth degree by about 4 o'clock.

Watched Live PD with DH last night, watched some of it last weekend for the first time.
Wow, there are sure a lot of drug users out and about.
Can't believe how many run/elude the traffic stops!!
Then when, for whatever reason, the have to stop, they get out and run on foot.
Lots of drunken stoopid folks too...and married couples, and/or neighbors that can't seem to get along.
Thankfully we live in a pretty quiet area, but it really makes me think hard about getting a gun. Have talked/thought about it in the past, but thinking it might be a good idea.
I've seen that all it takes is a car chase into an unsuspecting neighborhood, and then a scumbag running and trying to find somewhere to hide, and bam...there it is, right on your doorstep...:nah:

Heading off for another cuppa. :nun:

    Good morning Lori

    Wow big post!
Making meatloaf is a messy process so I figure double up and be done for a bit

I pretty much ignore this time change thing, got tired and sleepy and went to bed ;)

Quit watching that scary/depressing stuff!

    Good morning lovely lurkers.

Hope everyone had a nice weekend...mine was nice on Saturday, and rainy yesterday, but that's great being lazy weather, so I loved it...just wish it could have lasted longer.

Hope everyone has a great day, even though it's Monday. ;)

Good morning lurkers  got a bit of a late start this morning.

Awww, thanks, Lori. Halloween was fun this year for sure. Uggg, sorry it’s that time of year and you had to close up the pool. That would stink :( we’ve watched Live PD a few times, that is quite a crazy show.

I agree Dale, meatloaf is messy. Glad you were able to relax in the afternoon.

Angel, weekends are never long enough. Glad you had a nice weekend.

Hoping the rain holds off today, wanted to get the Christmas decorations up while it’s still semi warm out. Should have done it this past Saturday  Sounds like snow this coming weekend. I think the older I get the more I feel the time change. I agree, too dark, too early! Blah!

I know you’re all gone now. Hope it’s a quick and painless day!

    Hiya everyone :)

Hope you all have a great night, I am about to head to work. I get the next 2days off :)
Yay!! Hope tonight goes quickly for you. :)

Good evening Lurkers :) Cloudy, rainy and dark-ish.
Work was work, not much fun anymore :p

Hope you got your Christmas stuff done Sara :) Were you off today?

That’s great you’re getting two consecutive days off Joey :thumb:
Wait, when is “work” fun? Gloomy all around, the rain stopped for us around lunchtime. It reached 58 today, so that was nice.

Yep, I’m off through Veteran’s Day. :) Got the worst part of the decorations done. Have a few bulbs to change out, but I need to find the replacements  Couple more things to put out but those are easy peasy and not too bad to do if it’s freezing out.

Tomorrow I want to wipe down cupboards, high dust and get the baseboards.

You sure get a lot done on your time off ;)

Earlier we were under a tornado watch, don’t know if we still are or not.
