Sara, hope everything is good with kiddo's MRI. 
Day was fine at work, just the normal crazy chaos, but I'm used to that...once I got home, it all turned to crap...first the boy tells me that he busted his brand new phone screen that I just paid to have replaced last week.
...Then I had to spend over an hour on the phone with DirecTV because the dang receiver had a hard drive failure, which means I lost all my recorded shows. ...After dealing with the idiot from the call center in India, who kept trying all kinds of diagnostic crap over the phone, which I kept telling her wasn't going to work because the unit was saying it was a hard drive failure and would have to be replaced, she finally got it and then wanted to charge me for a new unit...that's when I went off on them, and finally got a supervisor...I now have a brand new upgraded wireless receiver coming at no charge! 
...But I still lost all my shows and that ticks me off. 
...But at least I can still watch TV for now, just can't record anything...I'm not used to watching live TV, not sure how to handle commercials. 
Hope everyone else's evening is going better...me, I'm having an adult beverage!

no news yet, they sent the images to the Dr and well, not sure how long that will take. Super proud of that kid for lying as still as he could for 45 min. 
I was able to go in the room with him and be by his side, although, wouldn’t have been any help had he freaked out because it was a closed machine. Alls I could see was the top of his head. They gave him movie goggles and headphones to distract him.

Oh boy, Angel. Kids... I’m dreading the whole phone thing with kiddo. First thing I did after reading your post, turned on the tv and recorded the last 2 years of kiddo’s bday wishes on my phone. Every year my mom sends his pic into the news for his bday and they show it and wish him happy bday. I’ve been meaning to capture them on my phone and just hadn’t done it. Yay for getting home early Dale.
Dreary looking day all day today, but the rain has been minimal...supposed to rain tonight and tomorrow again and then cool off...should have 40s at night by tomorrow night....looking forward to the cooler weather.
So, heard from the ex's new wife last night and the news is not good...they now think the cancer is in his pancreas too...they found spots on a new scan just done and they're now waiting on the biopsy on those...liver cancer diagnosis was bad enough as there is no cure, but if it's in the pancreas too, then it's really bad...I'm just really upset for the boys, our granddaughter and even his wife, as she really is a good person and they just got married a few months ago...damn, why do these things keep happening to people so young (he's not even 50 yet).
