Good morning KC and lurkers

Oooh o_O I heard coyotes last night for the first time. Made the hair stand up on the back of my neck. Sounded like they were everywhere.

Hope you all have a wonderful day!
Good afternoon, Sara Love and all the Lurkers :)

At night, if I don't have the tv or tunes playing, I turn on a high velocity fan to drown out the cries of the coyotes. I don't think I'll ever get use to the sounds they make. I would much rather hear a cougar in heat than the cries of coyotes.

Hope all Lurkers have a very Fine Friday :)

Good morning KC and Sara

Good morning lovely and handsome Lurkers

Why are you up so early Sara? o_O
Actually was up earlier than that (Lucy) but I would have had to get up normal time to get kiddo off to school. Step dad came over so he could see kiddo before he got on the bus. We went shopping and had lunch at Arby’s. They have the best mint chocolate milkshakes.

    Good morning everyone :)

I’m gonna hit my bed hope you all have a great day :)
    Sweet dreams, Joey

    Good afternoon 2WW
    :eek::eek::eek: Did you say....cougar :eek::eek::eek:

I thought it was neighborhood dogs at first but when the sound moved around to the back of the house, I’m like nope. None of our neighbors dogs roam freely.

I’m guessing coyotes are noisier than
    cougars?

Don’t they say cougars scream like a woman?

I had to google that, Dale and wow!! I’m sure YouTube doesn’t do a cougar scream justice. But it freaked me out a little.

Your trip to town was good, I hope.
Did you? Was it similar to a woman screaming? :?:

Other than dealing with a hard cold rain it was. And not long after I got home I got a floral delivery from dad and Mary, it’s so adorable

Good evening, Sara Love  and all Lurkers :)
Yup, you read...heard correctly...cougar. I've seen one once in my yard for a split second or two and it was gone faster than a blink of an eye. I'm sure you would've liked it to have been your neighbors dog roaming around than coyotes  . Oh, yes, noisy than all the sudden quit  like they weren't even around, it's creepy :nah: . My next door neighbor was surrounded by a pack of coyotes when he was camping, he didn't get any sleep that night keeping them at bay. He said he was actually terrified that night  .
Good afternoon 2W Sara and Shadav :)

Been to town, needed to get to the bank and did some shopping.

Wow Sara, I missed the part about coyotes
    Good evening, Dale
Glad you got your shopping done today instead of tomorrow.
Don’t they say cougars scream like a woman?
It's kinda like that but with a twist, it's kinda hard to describe how they sound. Maybe someone else would be able to explain it better than me. Sorry :( I wasn't any help.

Good night, Dale, Sara Love and all Lurkers :)

    Good morning,lurkers:wub:

We have our share of coyotes here too, noisy creatures. We also have cougars though I've never seen one. Saw our first bobcat a few months ago,had the whole family in our yard for about an hour. That was neat. We also have wolves and we did see one just once.

Yuck, don’t like going out in that either. So sweet you got flowers. Aww.

The video I watched, yeah, it did sound like a woman for a moment. Pitch wise. Can’t say I’ve ever heard a woman make that sort of noise, but then I don’t suppose I would want to. If that makes any sense.

Playing hooky from work tonight I caught a stomach bug and it is not pretty
I first read this as played hockey at work.:lol: I’m sorry you aren’t feeling well. Hope it’s a short lived bug.

    Messed up my quotes somehow.

2WW, yes. That is exactly how it was. I opened the front door to hear more and then the noise stopped. I stood there for a minute and decided to go back to bed. Once I was toasty warm, they or it started up again. that would be terrifying to be surrounded by them. Glad your neighbor was ok.

Fran, wow. Definitely an awesome sight from afar. The only wildlife I see around here are deer. I’ve been told they bring in mountain lions to kill the coyotes. But that could just be gossip.

Getting ready to head out for soccer and more soccer. Hope you all have a fabulous day!!
