Guess I need to decorate this tree, if it's going to get done...at all. I carried it up last weekend, lights and beaded garland already on it from last year, need to go collect the ornaments...
Finished up Christmas shopping last weekend, and last Friday shipped what needed to go.
We don't exchange with my side, and it's down to just getting something for MIL and two of DH's nephews.

Trying to plan a menu for next weekend, not sure if we'll be going to my brother's or what...so, guess I need to get that figured out today so I'm not in the grocery store three times like I was this past week.

Off for more coffee and to muster motivation to get ornaments on the tree.
I can do it!!
...just not into it anymore...the decorating and the Christmas hoopla.

Quiet time ended some time ago and both girls are back.

DD just set the stove on fire and smoked up the house I want my life back!

All is fine ....

Prayers going up for ya gal!!!

Heading off to soak as soon as I dry these few dishes and wipe down the stove top.
Pulled out leftover turkey from the freezer from Thanksgiving, stove top cornbread stuffing, mashed potatoes, rolls, and jellied cranberry sauce. Was delicious!
...and, actually easy peasy.
I have found Idahoan instant potatoes are very tasty, so between the two, I mainly boiled water and dumped ingredients in.
Hey, pretty good for an easy Sunday night dinner.

Been cleaning up that nasty stove and emptying the dishwasher ... don’t think the dishwasher is working properly

woot! The tree is done lolol. Kidding. I totally feel ya this year. Yum!! We have some leftover turkey in the freezer, wanted to make a casserole with it, but your dinner sounds amazing. Maybe we put the casserole off til next year.

Oh boy, Dale. I’m sorry. I hate cleaning the stove. I’ll never forget when DH spilled olive oil in the bottom. Sorry for the turmoil also. I can’t imagine.

Kiddo is ok. No fever today but says his throat hurts. I’m hoping it doesn’t turn to strep. I have presents to wrap tomorrow and tues. Can’t have him be home.

Considering I have zero Christmas spirit this year, I did pretty good. We even got the tree up...was hard work, but we finally got it done!

Oh Dale, that not good for a Monday.

He’s a man child......Bwahahahaha. He made it through the whole day at school. I asked him how he’s feeling. He says, “ I don’t know”

After some gentle prying, he says his throat doesn’t hurt.
