Good morning KC and Dale

Oh man, Dale. Did she forget it’s your day off? Hopefully you were almost ready to get up.
    Good morning Sara
No she’s just selfish that way :glare:

    I am Lurk.
I define lurk, i live lurk.
i drink a big cup of lurk every morning. I live in a lurk house. My back yard has lurk trees, flowers, plants, and lurk grass.
Good morning Shadow, long time no see :)

    Good morning all.
Was -18 with wind chill here when I got up. DH is up N, South of Joey, it was -46 with wind chill for him.
No snow thank the good Lord, possibly 0 to 1 inch this afternoon.
Forecast shows 53 for Sat., and 60 for Monday!

Yea for snow days Sara!!!

Dale, sorry Elly woke you, have been having middle of the night issues with Rita. :( *sigh*
She wants to sleep on the couch, it's taking a toll on my body. Fought with her last night for an hour to stay in bed and not go to the sofa...I finally prevailed...definitely hoping for a nap at some point today.

I'm home today, working tomorrow and Friday to finish the week.
DH texted me this a.m. and said..."don't go out". No reason to.
Thankfully, my position is pretty flexible at work. :nun:
Working on laundry, and writing out checks for bills...man, if only we could keep it all!!

Have a good day all!
Good morning Lori  Burr! Feel for you, certainly do as your DH suggests and stay inside, it is good that your work allows for that :)

How did we get ourselves into this fix with our animals? o_O

Wish we could keep our income too, life would be so much more fun +

Good morning, Lori  Thank goodness you don’t have to go out today! Safe travels for your DH.

Started at -14 windchill this morning and is down to -17, it will continue to drop all day.

About to lace up my indoor sneakers and walk the perimeter of the house to get my steps in. I’ve lost 10lbs since 1/7 woot!!

Bwahahaha pets are like kids ;) Lucy has taken a liking to the couch, middle of the night too. Guess she’s no longer concerned with sleeping with her “pack” anymore. DH lets her out to potty and then puts the gate up so she can’t come back upstairs.

Finally seeing a snow total on the news 15.8

Me too!! Sometimes I wonder where DHs head is at. He is fortunate enough to be able to work from home today. But decided he absolutely needed some coffee. It’s too cold to be outside, the wind is picking up and we were going to wait until tomorrow afternoon to clear the driveway......can you see where this is headed......there is about 2 feet at the end of the driveway. Half hour later he gets the truck unstuck. 20min later he’s back on the couch with his coffee and timbits

Thanks Dale, pretty pleased with the results so far. :)

    It was nice :)

Ham fried rice with broccoli and cauliflower for supper.
    Yum, Dale!! Sounds really good.

Can’t remember if I told y’all. I bought DH a few spice blends for Christmas, some were salt free. One of them was Frozen Pizza seasoning (will have to double check if that was salt free) but I used it on homemade pizza tonight and omgosh, it was a game changer. Bonus that you can use it on more than just pizza.

The label says “spices” and garlic  I’m thinking it’s a family recipe because the other spice blends I bought tell you what spices are in it.

Yeah, it stinks, then you can’t try to recreate it at home. Lolz! Not that I would be able to anyway ;)

I used the same settings I always do in tinypic but on my phone it just looks really big.

That’s something I hadn’t thought of. But you are absolutely right. I don’t know my spices like some. But I’m guessing oregano, basil, maybe thyme and of course garlic but that’s listed

I read somewhere there was fennel too. On amazon someone asked.

Will you be off tomorrow too Sara?

I do remember seeing that somewhere too now that you mention it. Fennel is sweet?

DH has a couple of meetings tomorrow, so for that reason I will take a sick day if we aren’t closed again. If I could guarantee no emergency pops up, I honestly think kiddo would be fine to stay home alone. He’s a good kid. But that’s a risk I’m not ready to take. Maybe in a couple years. Lol

He’s only 8 right? A little young to stay alone all day.

I don’t like Italian seasoning
