Sorry to hear about Hazy. :(

So turns out it was the rear tires had severe wear on them due to be out of balance because of a thrust angle something or other...the wear was on the inside so we couldn't see it...so 2 new tires, a new thrust thingie and an alignment later and all is well with that...

Except...today decided to throw me another curve ball and when I went to leave for work this morning, the dang thing decided to just die on me...had to wake my son up to try and jump me off but it wouldn't keep a charge, so I just had him take me to work and had my other son come by after work to look at it...looks like it's probably the alternator (brand new battery put in 2 months ago and it was testing fine)...so now we've dropped it back off at the shop to see exactly what's wrong and looks like I'm going to be without a vehicle for a few days because bf insists that if it's the alternator, he wants to order it online so he can save a few bucks...obviously the inconvenience it will cause me and the fact that I have to have a car at work due to all the places I have to go doesn't matter...as long as he saves a buck or two! :-x

Anyway...hope everyone else had a better day...sweet dreams lovely lurkers.

Winter Warning from 6am to 6pm here
    expecting dusting to 3"

Thrust angle alignment = all 4 tires pointing forward

as long as you get a lifetime warranty on the alternator from a local vendor the cost should be worth it.

Good morning KC and lurkers

Eeeesh Dale, you’re supposed to grind the meat, not your fingers. ;) Kidding. Thank goodness you don’t have to work today. Rest those hands up.

Hope you stay on the lower end of that snow, KC. Only like 30 something days til spring. ;)

Oh no Angel. Unexpected car troubles stink. Sorry you’ll be without a car for that long. Fingers crossed you get it back sooner.

Oh dear, a co worker swears by scotch tape on paper cuts :?: I’ve tried it but don’t like how it feels. Sensory thing I guess. Band saws can be nasty. They like to bite. glad you got to sleep in :)

It was nasty alright ;) Fighting to keep it from getting infected.

I’ve used scotch tape when nothing else was available, not comfortable.
