Better have a chat with him afterwards to clear up misconceptions

Winner dinner!
I watched the video the night the letter came home. The school is showing it on Monday. We talked a bit about it last night on the way home from dinner. He had some good questions which I hope we were able to clear up in a way he understood and I told him we will answer any more questions he has after he sees it. Told him I wanted him to watch the girls version this coming weekend, because I believe that is equally important. I haven’t watched that one yet but I will, before he does.

Sounds like a good idea to me :) Glad those days are long gone for us

Yeahhh.....that one. We’ve already had age appropriate ones along the way. But there’s no going back from *this* one

Dinner done and dishwasher running ;)

:drool::drool: Yum!!! Might have to get some bacon out of the freezer for the morning. Love me some BLT’s. Mm mm. Actually that would be a good lunch/dinner should the power go out. :thumb:

    Good morning Sara

Spring yes, the allergy results no

My daffodils are done and now the forsythia is blooming.
I had forgotten about the allergy part. Yeah, that stinks. Awwww your flowers already blooming. Everything here is still in its winter slumber. I always get so excited to see the trees budding with new life.

Weather sure is weird this morning. Woke up to very bright sun to the south and black skies to the north. It got dark very quickly and started to hail, thunder/lightening and rain. Winds are mild at this point. Now it’s sunny again to the south, black/north. I can hear thunder off in the distance. Looks like it’s headed this way again.

We are hunkered down for the day. Kiddo is with my parents and should be here in a couple of hours. Storms passed by and it’s very windy out there. Started around 12:30. Power is on but there are about 3000 without power so far. Lucy is not a fan of the wind.

    Good afternoon lovely lurkers.

Hope everyone has enjoyed their weekend...not too bad here...bf took me out for an early birthday dinner last night since I won't be here for the actual day...went to my favorite place, Texas Roadhouse, and ended up having the worst steak I've ever had...was so full of fat and undercooked that it was just about inedible! :nah: I only ate about a 1/3 of it before I gave up...the dog was thrilled though. ;) The rest of the meal was great though and the shrimp was wonderful so it wasn't a total loss...plus the huge margarita made it where I just didn't really care!

Hahaha. No, barking at every gust. Which is like constant. So far I’ve seen reports of tractor trailer flipped over, roof blown off a house, gas station lost the whole front to the structure that covers the pumps, roof blew off of a book store, saw a video of light signal fall and just missed a car going through the intersection. Video of the wind pushing the ice up the bank on Lake Erie. Highest wind gust 74 in Niagara Falls. 70 at Buffalo airport.

    Hi Angel
Sorry your steak wasn’t good, you should have sent it back. When’s the actual day?

Oh the barking  Isn’t it annoying?
