Guess you don’t do open windows much ;)

I haven’t been shopping yet but do have chili cooking and washed, dried and remade the bed. Been having night sweats all this past week, hate waking up soaking wet! Ugh!
Just those couple. They are pretty much directly across from each other, so opening them does the job. But it would be nice to be able to open more.

I hear you on the night sweats. Doesn’t happen often....yet, but I’ve been there. Mmm chili. We are having Parmesan crusted chops, mashed tates and roasted asparagus. Trying out the potatoes in the instant pot  early dinner, soccer game at 6.

Oooh that sounds delish! Sure thing on the parm ;) I use panko bread crumbs, garlic smoked paprika and parsley. Seared in a pan with olive oil and finished in the oven.

Sounds like a real good time!! You definitely needed that. :) Taco salad sounds awesome too! Still learning with the IP. Things that were successful were steel cut oats, jasmine rice, whole30 chili (family devoured it), hard boiled eggs (shells come right off) and tonight, potatoes for the first time. I need more practice with meats. The chicken breasts were rubbery and the roast was not so good. Round roast - I think.

I got it, thinking it would save time on home cooked meals during the week. It doesn’t. It does however keep you from having to watch the stove. I threw 2lbs of peeled whole potatoes in it with 1 1/2 cups of water. Set on high pressure for 20 min. I want to say it probably took 10 min to come to pressure, 20 min to cook and 21 min to naturally release the pressure. So 51 minutes just to cook the potatoes....still had to mash. However, they were done when everything else was so it wasn’t a big deal.

HB eggs take about 15 min, rice about 20. Those are things that I make weekly. I think the chili took an hour (start to finish) it was also nice to be able to brown the beef right in the pot and then add the other chili ingredients. One pot to wash.

Couple inches. Supposed to get 1-3 today. Bet you’re happy for the cooler temps.

Tomorrow will be cold, but the next 2 weeks should stay in the 40s/50s.
Yes I am, sleep a lot better in cooler weather. Not going to last long, maybe through Tuesday.

    Good morning all.

KC, so glad for the good Dr. report, no pain meds , and that you got your paperwork sorted out! Good to make copies, no matter the situation.
Hope you didn't get much snow!

    Welcome Peter!! :)

Joey, hope you got your weekend off, and didn't get snow!!

Angel, sounds like a WONDERFUL show!! I'd love to see him sometime!

Sara, sorry for your snow. That just royally stinks, we had rain all day yesterday, and it turned quiet a bit colder.
I think it was 30 this morning with a feels like of 22. Brrrr, but thankfully not a flake! :nun:
Wow, I thought Lucy was older already.

Dale, I feel for ya with the sweating at night, I haven't had to deal with that yet (thankfully), but I'm sure it's no fun. :(
Glad you didn't get storms!! Your ribs sounded delicious!!

Shad, glad you were able to get back to work, I'm sure you've been ready to.
Sorry you were so exhausted though, and got snow. Glad work was cancelled!!

Not a darn thing to report from here. More of the same ole, same ole.
But wanted to pop in to say "hi" and try to keep up. :)
Itching to get outside and clean up the yard, but it's either been yucky weather, or when it's been nice, I've been working.
It'll warm up soon enough and I'll be able to get outside more.

Doing laundry, paying bills, and going to try to stitch today.
Hope you all have a good day before Sundayitis sets in...I can feel it creeping already.
