Good morning Joey and lurkers

Bigger checks are  we’ve definitely all been cranky a time or two or maybe three  TGIF!!! I’m ready for 5 o’clock.

Glad your torture week is almost done, Joey.

Feeling a bit more energized today. Maybe because I know it’s the weekend  kiddo has a moving up informational meeting on Monday, so I took the day off and there is no soccer this weekend. *Sara does a little happy dance* Can’t believe he’s starting Middle School in the fall.

Hope you all have a great day!

Good morning Fran and Joey

How have you been, Fran? It’s been a lil while.

Joey, sorry this week is proving to be even tougher than anticipated.

    Dale, how’s that finger doing?

I’m thoroughly wiped out. :?: Not sure why since nothing is really different.

Hope you all have a good day. :)
    I'm getting there,Sara. Thanks for asking:wub:

Well alright  Know you’ll be happy to get back to your norm :)

I took a 1/2 day, left work at 10a. I was the only 1 doing the dirty work getting black nasty grease on my clothes while the other mechanic that was supposed to be learning was off somewhere else :lol::lol:

oh it's been the adventures with shadz today...
my alarm went off and  I told it no  thankfully I actually did wake up 20 minutes later
as I went outside to leave for work, my blocked in by a firetruck and 2 ambulances....text my boss letting her know i'd be late and sent her the picture....
on the way to work my van started running ruff like a flat tired but didn't have a flat
as I left work omg pressed on my brakes and nothing.....then a grinding noise....I was so scared....driving white knuckled for 30 minutes trying not to have to use my breaks to get from work to firestone.....
sat for 5 1/2 hours while they worked on my van.... $800 later it's drivable :( and still need another $400 to replace the 2 front tires....I was like omg just stop....as they were checking the van to figure out what was wrong (in case it wasn't just the brakes) they're like so your oil might be leaking, we'll check....oh and your front tires need replaced soon....oh and so your brakes the caliper is broken and ate up the pads and messed up the rotor....oh and that shock is busted..... i'm like if you tell me oh and one more time I'm gonna start crying

thankfully it all went onto my firestone account, but that maxes it back out, I almost had it paid off....otherwise i'd have thrown the tires on there hopefully they'll last a while, the guys like they need replaced there's major wear on the edges.... i'm like if it can't go on my account i can't do it right now....he told me that next weekend though they are doing some sale (all firestones) so if i come back then it'd be cheaper....hopefully it'll last til then and maybe I can have some money to fix that....he said it should be around $250 instead of $400 if i come back next weekend....

Rotate the tires, with the worn tires on the rear they will be ok for awhile. Hopefully the rear tires have more tread, anyway I am surprised they didn’t just do that for you. You need to find a cheaper repair shop than firestone!!
