morning.... ugg i'm a zombie today
so yesterday after getting home from work, my arm kept itching...didn't think much of it because I have eczema anyways, not that uncommon....but it kept on... I put lotion on but still kept on.... then i noticed the itching was more of a sting/burn....broke out in a rash/hives in the bend of my arm.... ufff... ok put some cortisone cream on.... then it got worse.... ended up going to the er, they pumped me full of antihistamines and steroids....not sure what caused it....
came home and slept it off.... missed work this morning... i am so groggy... but it's mostly cleared up but still i am itching everywhere.... i need to take some more antihistamine but I was trying to wake up enough to go to work.... I had texted my boss when I finally woke up, explaining what happened, so she called me and I must really sound out of it, my tongue feels so heavy, she's like are you good or are you groggy, I'm like I'm very groggy.... she's like I was going to send you somewhere else.... let me get some coffee in me and maybe, ok call me later then...
that was about 2 hours ago, I don't think I'm really going to be up for anything today.... still sipping on my coffee (I fell back asleep after talking with her lol)
I'm trying to get with it but I mean, I know the hospital pumped me full of stuff to counter balance the reaction before it became even worse....seeing as how quickly it came on....
I'm really about to say forget it, take some more meds and go back to sleep.... I mean I did try but uff, I'm so out of it, I don't trust myself to drive and the itching is about to drive me crazy....
sure wish I knew what caused it
only thing I can think of is it was something at the barns and nobles I was auditing yesterday or it was something in the drier I had to use sunday night, public drier here at my apartments (I have to pay for it but still) because my uniform wasn't dry yet, I wash my clothes in a little portable washer and then hang dry.....
I may go and soak in a vinegar bath, if I can seem to stay awake long enough....
