Good afternoon, Fran and Dale 
Day one of the academy was successful.
kiddo managed to get over his nervousness and did very well. We took him to lunch and told him about not making his original team. He’s disappointed but surprisingly ok.
We got together with another family (from his original team) last night and while the kids played some ball, the mom told me that several families are upset over this turn of events. She had me in tears. One of the boys said.....that kid (kiddo) is a special person and plays with his heart. It won’t be the same without him.
To think that a 10 year old said this about another is amazing. Gives me hope for the future.
Anyhoo, it was a good day!!

I was chilled from being outside, snuggled on the couch with Lucy and caught up on some of my summer shows 
today I have cleaning, laundry and grocery shopping. A backwards weekend.

I’m washing a load of laundry and cleaned my coffee machine ... it told me it needed cleaning
Hand washed a few dishes I’m happy to say there aren’t any bills to be paid today
