I'm home. Waiting for my brother and sil to get here (here being in town) and then we're meeting at the reception. It's like 4 blocks from here. Dinner doesn't start until 5, goes from 5-7...I'm leaving after that.You have my sympathy

We just got back from spending a weeks worth of grocery money on a meal 
One of them high falultin restaurants that don’t show the price for their meals It was interesting to say the least Good but I don’t know that it was worth it ... DH’s choice.

Kiddo had a bday party, friend from the old soccer team. That was awkward to say the least but he had fun. I put on a brave smile and two hours were over.....just like that.

One kid yelled out to him heyyyyy you’re not on the travel team anymore, why are you here. Another kid as we were leaving looked like he wanted to cry and said I just don’t understand why you aren’t on the team. I’m going to protest the coaches.
Some of the moms/dads stayed away and others came up to say hello and see how things are. I firmly believe everything happens for a reason and this new team will make him a better soccer player.

You always pick the best quotes, Dale. I had to show dh because he is really having a hard time with this soccer thing. Don’t get me wrong, he knows kiddo is not “precious” and the star of the team. I keep telling him to let it go. This new team will be better for kiddo in the long run. They are actively teaching the kids how to get better, not recruiting hero ball players to have a winning team.

Practice in an hour, laundry and my other plans are to get out all my vaping stuff and go through it. I want to get into the freezer too and see if the nic is ok. Haven’t visited that since I rebottled and packed it up. I don’t even know what’s in there
I’ve been reading and refreshing the general discussions and paranoia is kicking in big time. Why, I don’t know. 3 years ago I obviously thought I was good to go. Got my Aegis Solos yesterday. They sure are pretty and so much bigger than I’m used to lolol.
