Um.....how long do flavors last? Unopened. o_O:?::blink:

I have been vaping unflavored since I started making my own because it was just easier. But I have flavors from Capella, Flavour Art, HKHangsen, Flavor West, Tfa.

I have things I don’t have a clue as to what they are. I’m guessing atomizers of some sort, old school and probably from grandmato5 who hasn’t been seen since 2017 :(

I don’t know Sara, wondering that myself  All of mine are at least two years old :(

These have to be about 3 because that’s when I started stocking up and was vaping flavored. I assumed I’d be making up some new favorites by now  Are you still using the flavors that are that old?

So, I have some batteries on the charger, fingers crossed. Pulled everything out, found some light bulbs I bought years ago for the ceiling fan, guess I thought the box was vaping supplies , wrote down what I have and packed it back up. Aye yi yi!!

@JoeyC I have several pt2 and a bazillion coils for them as well as spare parts, so I think I’m set as long as I can rebuild them when the time comes. Thank you so much for the offer. :)

Imma need one of you to fly here and give me a good schooling :w00t::lol: travel and accommodations paid for.

....um THAT would be Fran or Joey...;)
I fill the bottle almost 2/3 full of premix and squirt in my flavor.
That's how *I've* done it since day one.
I've actually (mostly) perfected the no measure method for myself...but YMMV.
Then when I refill my tanks, the last couple of years, I top off with my favorite Mt. Baker flavors.

Flavors can last 3-4 years if kept in a dark cool place. Sunlight is the enemy of flavors and liquid.

Post pics of the things you have maybe we can figure out what they are.

Do you think of the flavors aren’t open that they are any good? Or should I toss?

When I first started I was measuring everything every time. Then I started marking a fill line on the bottles with a sharpie. After I had to keep remarking the bottles I decided to use painter’s tape. I would fill to the top of the first piece of tape with nic, then fill to the top of the 2 piece with vg and finally use a syringe for the distilled water. My original markings were for 18mg. Now I’m filling to the bottom of the first piece of tape and sometimes half way

You’ve piqued my curiosity with just adding a splash of flavor. :D

Semi dark, semi cool place. If I opened them up and tasted, I would know if they were off, right? We are headed to dinner but I will take pics tonight or tomorrow.

I have never had a flavor go bad, I would say it would smell bad or maybe there would be separation of compounds. Maybe @FranC can help :)

My nic-liquid is premixed. Nic/VG already, so I don't have to add anything.
I use a 50ml dropper bottle, fill that with the premix to just below where the neck starts to curve in, imagine drawing a straight line just before the neck starts...I fill to a little below that with my premix nic liquid.
Then I do the main flavor, which in my case is a Cinnamon Danish (various brands over the years), then a little Belgium Waffle, a little Bavarian Cream, and a teeny tiny bit of Maple....by then, it's pretty close to full.

I put those filled bottles in a small crock pot run up to about 115 degrees, let them sit in a warm bath...I turn it off and on to keep the water warm and about that temp.
Then turn to mix them (several times) before they cool down.

That WHOLE process, to mix/refill about 5 or 6 bottles, takes me 15 minutes or less.
The warm water bath, turning off and on to keep the temp where I want it, maybe a couple hours.

I'm such a creature of habit. I have always liked that mixture, never tired of it or really had the desire to try a bunch of different flavors.
Mt. Baker always used to send samples, and I rarely liked anything...so I've just always vaped something like that mixture.

The short answer is no ... but that’s because I’m too lazy and disinterested in making liquid

...same here, but I don't like to cook, and I think it's spills over to that...mixing e-liquid.

Cooking varies for me, sometimes I don’t mind and others I’d just really rather not. Deciding what to make is the the part I hate!
Same here, but I generally don't like to...well, really it's more cleaning up the mess.
But definitely deciding what to make is the very worst part.

Sorry that pic is SO BIG. Didn't look like that on my phone, but is WAY large on my laptop screen.

Hahaha. I hate the clean up too. We meal plan every Friday and I make sure to have the boys input because it is tiring trying to figure out what every week.

That could be part of why I never used the flavors. ;) laziness is the other part.

Lori, those meatballs look amazing!! I’m on my phone so the pic looks normal to me. :)

Thank you!! Just a basic recipe with panko, the sausage is one DH ground/reground.
50/50 wild boar that he ground, and ground plain sausage from the butcher shop here in town, then packaged mix seasoning. Really good....we didn't put in casings though.

I'd sometime like to try making Sazitza....or at least have DH go to The Hill in St. Louis an get some at the place there. There's is pretty awesome.
