...now THAT said, regarding using a pass through powered through your laptop or pc, back when those discussions were going on, there weren't NEARLY the charging adapters then, that there are now...it's entirely possible that you could use a charger with the USB port/whatever it's called and use a wall outlet, but you would have to have the info for the pass through, and the info for the charger...
Maybe Joey or someone can explain that better, or correct me on that.
We actually have a couple of usb outlets in the house. Down side would be having to sit next to the outlet  BUT that would eliminate chain vaping while watching tv :D

Like these kind?

Mine are longer than that but I have like a dozen or so. And a whole drawer full of the clearomizers or whatever they are called. They could all be dead by now as they are brand new in the packaging still. One reason I was thinking about the pass through.

After charging those old AW IMR, I'm almost afraid to even see if these will take a charge.
For what I paid for them, and how old they are, I'm thinking possibly better to be safe than sorry.
They were sets on clearance, new...but I remember thinking when I got them that they looked like new/but old stock, so there's honestly no telling how old they really are.

Yep. I’m thinking that’s how I got them too. Clearance. Virgin Vaper, where I started and what I started with.

I just looked through all my old emails. Sept. 2016
High Desert Vapes...since closed. :(

Where do you even dispose of them?? I have some old VV twist egos that are just dead, that I used years ago, need to get rid of those too.

Thank you, Lori

My biggest concern now that I have the extension ring/caps is....what are the chances of the 18650 going away as well?

The solo takes that same 18650 battery, right? So the two kinds of mods I have for my future are the provari mini and the solo. Did I put the nail in my coffin?
Ya’all might want to pm me your addresses, so I have somewhere to ship off all my vapocalypse stash
Stock up on some button top 18650 from the battery store. The mini and 2.5 take button tops and the extensions give you 18560 length.
The Provari's that take 18650 flat tops are Classic, P3, Radius and Procyon. I think you need to add a mod that takes 20700, 21700, 18650
If I remember correctly, the downside of those was, if something failed in the device, you could potentially fry your laptop or pc.
Man, that's been a long time ago, so don't quote me.
use them with a wall wart/cube

Thanks @bnrkwest
I'm done buying though. LoL's
I'm going to pray that 18650's don't go away...I think.

ETA: Sara was looking for the disc to make a flat top a button top.
Was sure you had a link for those. :)
I don't have that link, not something I feel comfortable doing :) But some posted it has a sticky side??

Good deal on top fill squonker that take 3 different batts, I got a couple of these too just for insurance. Dovpo Topside Squonk 90W TC Box Mod

I never thought batteries would be an issue until we are seeing some sizes go away. I have a mini Reo that is in the same boat. Need to stock some batts for her too.

Last I saw of the conversation regarding the button tab disc thingie, that was what was being discussed, possibly not safe, but I didn't see the end of the convo.

Thanks again so much for the quick info. I can't keep up on the Stocking Up thread. LoL

Pretend I’m a 5 year old, can you explain what squonking is?

I think I’ve seen two different kinds of those button top adapters. One looked like a disc and one looked like a little cap but maybe the picture wasn’t that clear. I will have to look again, just got home from soccer.

So they aren’t safe?

Do I need any kind of spare parts for the solos or this jackaroo?

Eta..no cap. Just a disc.

Gal, I have no idea if they're safe. They're making them, so someone's prob using them.
But the discussion I saw was leaning towards not safe...that seems to be what Bnrkwest gleaned as well.

I think the issue with adding the cap or button is shorts, I am a chicken sh_t so won't try them LOL

A squonker is a bottom feeder to RDA dripper atty. they have a bottle inside and it drips juice on the atty. Tge most common is a Reo, but lots of different ones out there. I always wanted to try it so saving for the Dark Ages :) You can still use the mod with a tank if you want and not squonk/drip :)
