I love her just the same. Although, they said she doesn’t bark or shed and they were full of bologna. She barks at her own shadow and I could run the vacuum twice a day if I wanted too. Yes, yes we do. Winter 9 mos out of the year.

Great time for the furnace to decide it doesn’t want to work.
I just did my walking, indoors of course so I’m warm at the moment but earlier this morning I chip clipped a heating pad to my shoulders.
Now I realize I could have just sat down with a blanket but I knew I wouldn’t get my walking in, if I had done that.
It’s supposed to warm up this weekend and we will call first thing Monday to have someone come out for the furnace (already swapped out the filter and still a no go)

I thought about it, but I don’t want to pay extra for them to come out on the weekend. It’s supposed to reach 60 today, 65 tomorrow and 70 on Monday. We will be ok. The inside temp is 62.

......retirement is nice, for the most part....I'm a homebody, so I don't travel. Have to find ways to entertain myself near home....but it's nice to NOT have to set an alarm clock, even though my body wakes me up WAY too early and sends me sleeping before 10!!

I try to get her outside and throw the ball. She will retrieve a couple times and then lay down with it. Forget running around the yard with her. She will not walk with me unless I drive her to the bike path, which I almost never have the time.
Lucy has to have a hard boiled egg with me in the morning. I only give them to her twice a week. But she knows the sound of the egg carton and comes running. Even if she’s upstairs.
Maybe that’s what I need to do with her, run around the yard with a hard boiled egg.

Female bully’s should weigh between 48-50lbs. She feels heavy when she’s standing on my lap, so I was guessing between 50-60 but DH says she weighs in at exactly 50. However, she’s not the most energetic so it’s a lazy 50 instead of a muscular 50.
